Patty melt with fries
Steve O.

It isn't very big, 9 tables. The boneless wings, Asian chicken wrap, and patty melt were all good. The wings could have used more sauce and the wrap less lettuce. Cole slaw and French fries were good as well. Service was fast and efficient. Prices are in line with most places in town, $14 to $16 per entree. They get bonus points for being the first restaurant we visited in North and South Dakota fresh brewed sweet tea.

Came Monday morning for breakfast; I was surprised that they were closed. Returned Tuesday morning & were happy to get a table before 9:00. We had luggage in our car & parked right out front. Coffee with milk came quickly & was delicious. I ordered the farmhouse breakfast & my husband pancakes. Our waitress was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was substantial and delicious, we had trouble finishing it all.

Brunch before National Park [Medora ND] Just a quarter mile before the entrance to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park we decided to have brunch first. We found this cafe serving breakfast and lunch. I can't remember the wait time, maybe like 20 mins. the waiting area was under a covered area in a front porch setting. It was a popular place for tourists. We each ordered a "Lighter Breakfast" which was one egg, bacon for me (sausage for the hubby) and white toast. Good and simple. Breakfast was served from 7:00a to 11:00a. The restaurant was small and intimate inside. Staff was good and attentive. It can get pretty noisy inside. Review #3498

Pretty good and not too bad. Friendly staff. The food was well presented and came out quickly. Comfortable space.

Mac n cheese bites
Kelly A.

I was a bit nervous about the food since mixed reviews but everything we got was so delicious!! The Mac n cheese bites 10/10!! I also got a chicken Caesar wrap and it was tasty, the fries were nice and even the kids Mac n cheese passed my kiddos Kraft only phase. It is a very small space, maybe a dozen tables but service was fast and super friendly.

Cobb salad

If you're looking for a fast meal, this is your place. We were in and out in 30 minutes, which was great after a morning spent hiking at TR National Park. Menu offers a wide arrange of lunch options (salads, burgers, lots of appetizers), and coke products. We split the onion rings, which were delicious. I had a taco salad, which was filling and tasty; husband had the Cobb salad and was very happy with it. Service was fantastic, quick and attentive.

Service was good. Menu was very limited. Food was so so. Price not equal to food quality.

Adorable, cozy spot where I had cheesy, crispy stuffed hashbrowns and were they ever tasty! If we're in the area again, we'll go back!

Recommend beginning at TR's Tavern, a small lounge next to the dining room. It's old fashioned is a generous pour and expertly crafted. Plus the bartenders are just up front and friendly folks. So much to like about the dining room. On consecutive nights we had great meals and wonderful service, particularly from Alex! It's not over crowded and has a real rhythm to its service, although you never feel rushed. Impressive wine list that we chose from both nights. We also like the substantial side Ceasars you could add to the entrees. The bread service was very good too. Heartily recommend the duck quarters or the lamb rack, both with superb cheese grits and grilled asparagus. The favors just knock you for a loop! The blackened salmon is also an excellent choice, with the really well prepared roasted red potatoes. So creamy. The dinner salad with beef tips is almost overwhelming--skip lunch that day. The sticky toffee desert is surprisingly good-well baked, sweet but not too much. You really miss a taste of western North Dakota if you skip this place.

What a great find in Medora!…read more The place is adorable and the food is fantastic. We started with the nachos and added chop meat. These were some of the best nachos ever. Then we had the blueberry flatbread. The waiter recommended adding prosciutto and it was a great suggestion. And they had the cutest Halloween decorations which is always a hit with me. Amazing food and service. Thank you Uncorked for a great experience.

All 3 wine options in my flight were outstanding, and we also got a mule. - the flatbread pizza! All the meats were high-quality and it was cooked perfectly. - my husband loved the BBQ blueberry meatball pizza, and it's very unique to the area. - the vegan chocolate cake- didn't even get a pic because it was so excellent I ate it immediately, and I also appreciated having a vegan dessert option Could improve: - chips & salsa were worse than anything I get from the grocery store- they tasted like straight-up Tostitos mild. For like $10 and with otherwise great food, please do better. - the service was extremely indifferent. The main guy working was alone behind the counter, with no customers when we arrived, and he didn't acknowledge us for several minutes. We watched this pattern of confusion continue with everyone else who came in- no one knew where to sit, etc. He rarely visited tables and it took a long time to even get water and menus.

First I will say it was a bit busy because peo were trying to get something to eat before the show in Medora, but that doesn't excuse rudeness! Our waitress was very blunt, and short with us and when I asked what beers they had on tap, her answer, "We have ultra, an IPA and a brown ale!! What happened to all the multiple crafts that your website says you have! Oh well! Ordered the IPA and she brought it back rather quickly! Ordered our food and then waited for quite a long time for a couple of burgers! Like 45 minutes and in that time, the waitress never stopped by to se if we wanted anything else to drink! Had to flag her down and wave her over to get her to stop back at our table! With my second beer almost gone, our food finally arrived! I don't mind waiting for food when I know they are busy, but that food should at least come out hot and fresh! Nothing even remotely close! My fries were rubbery and cold and my burger was no where near even Luke warm! If I lived near by, would never stop again! My suggestion for anyone traveling through, find someplace else to eat! Not worth the money!
