We got to sample the sausage and bologna before we decided which one to purchase. We ended up purchasing a whole lot more. There's local honey, all sorts of meat, seafood, and cheese. We were introduced to kuchen and even got to sample that as well. What a great shop to have nearby that sells local and supports the community!

When we arrived they were closed! Luckily, the side door was open and we met the owner who let us shop! What a nice guy! My to-go order included mixed country style sausage (fanatic flavor), smoked ribs (yummy - I wish I picked up more), beef sticks (tasty homemade beef jerky that only lasted two days before being gobbled up by my teenagers), and apricot kuchen (another item I wish I had gotten more of because it was so creamy and sweet). If you don't live in the area, you can always purchase their secret spice mix ($15 to make 50lbs sausage) and have it shipped to you and make your own version of the Wurst Shop sausage!
