Usually moving ends in bruises and at least one or two incidents of swearing vehemently at your spouse because you got stuck on the heavy end. Exhausted and dirty you collapse and swearing off ever moving again. Then you remember you have to clean and return the rental truck before you can actually rest. Well I can attest that I would move another dozen times if I can hire Helpful Movers to do the work for me. They were polite, punctual, and professional. They quickly got to work and carefully packed all our belongings into the truck. Nothing was broken or damaged. (I'm use to losing at least something along the way.) Worth every penny!!! Really after you think about that rental, the swearing, the multiple trips (because you didn't get a big enough truck), and the random friends/relatives that resent you a bit more afterwards, it's a lot cheaper to hire these guys in the long run.

Then we noticed 2 living room type chairs were wobbly/loose. Then we had a side table's leg fall off and the table fell within 1" of our 5 months head... I hope they're thankful my lawyer father isn't drawing up a lawsuit this minute had it even scratched our son upon falling. Then we had another side table/nightstand whose leg ALSO broke off when we just picked it up to move it to another room. The 3 silver bar stool chairs got extremely scratched up, very noticeably. The entry table with 2 little drawers is now excessively loose at the top as if it could come straight off. I initially gave a great review the day of, but clearly this was a rush job not done well and very careless. Wish we had moved ourselves. I understand I signed a waiver for possible damage, which I would understand for 1 or maybe 2 items of minimal damage, but this is beyond excessive damage, the cost to repair all these items are over $1000 so will be updating my initial review to reflect these issues, warn others & reporting to the BBB

WARNING!!!…read more Completely unprofessional and dishonest. My widowed mother used them to move because she did not want to burden her family. She hired them even though they were more expensive then the competition because they claimed 22 years of experience. They reviewed everything she had (of which she sold or gave away most) and said it would be an easy move. They even said they could take down and put up TVs and get things setup nicely for her as long as she paid their pricey hourly rate. It turns out they are a scam. Three guys showed up with a small snowmobile trailer that clearly wouldn't fit everything in. She was moving an hour away and they told her she would just have to pay their rate to go back and forth. They didn't show up with a small moving truck as expected! My mom ended up renting the moving van which was cheaper. The end result was the following: - They missed items and got mad when she asked them to put them in the truck (a dolly and two shelves in the garage) - They broke a TV by throwing a dolly on it but tried to hide it until my Mom asked where the "missing" TV was. - They refused to do anything but drop off the items. Lots of things were left outside. (Go figure since they were being paid hourly). - They wouldn't even take a door of hinges to get items in the house so my Mom has to hire another neighbor do pop 3 hinges out for them! - In the end they agreed to pay $100 for the nice broken TV (that they claimed was my Mom's fault since she didn't keep the TV box), but not before they added another $40 charge for having to drive the truck my mom rented back! What a rip off! My sister in law and I had to come help my Mom and rearranged our schedules because of this very unprofessional company! They showed up on-time, quickly assessed the task, and started their work. This item weighted between 500 and 600 pounds but two guys used moving straps to lift it, moved it up two short staircases, and out to their truck. Then they delivered it to the center.
