I like to go extra times each year so I go three times a year for cleaning and then for my regular checks with Dr. Wang. David is an excellent hygienist who is super thorough and gentle and always does an awesome job making my teeth look and feel great. Dr. Wang is an excellent dentist, very friendly; I've had to have one filling replaced with him (it cracked years ago, and he finally convinced me to replace it) and although it did get/stay a little sensitive for a while now it's perfect. He was really good checking in with me every time and giving me tips on how to help with the sensitivity issues. The front staff is usually very friendly and helpful as well. I've been going here for a few years and only had one incident that I can remember where maybe somebody was having a bad day (hey it happens to all of us!) :) all in all I definitely recommend going here for your dental care needs.

They don't stand behind the work they do or they do work that isn't a permanent fix. The first thing that the doctor said to me was I anticipated you coming back by they way we fixed your tooth the last time. If he knew I would be back, why didn't he suggest or fix the veneer so I didn't have to come back. Instead he let me leave with the idea that I would be back, either sooner or later. That tells me that they did the cheapest, easiest fix, and did not permanently fix the problem of my veneer falling out, and the chances of me having to return would be great and I would have to pay more money. Now he expects me to pay more money for sub par work that wasn't meant to be a permanent fix. Nobody explained any of my options and now this is the THIRD time I have to have this tooth/veneer replaced. Smiles Dentistry as a corporation name did the work, so smiles dentistry should fix the problem. The doctor basically told me to go find the original doctor that initially did the work and have him guarantee the work. This owner at Maple Grove did the work the second time and when I came in the third time his first statement was I figured you would be back. That doesn't tell me that he fixes teeth to permanently help the client. He fixes them to a level that is sub par and just do happens more beneficial for his finances. He told me I knew you would be back and that he didn't even have to look at the X-rays tells me that he KNEW what was going on my mouth was not permanent. Ended up waking up in the middle of the process and so they had to make sure I was out for it since I didn't want to be awake. Everything else went great. But fast forward to a few weeks later. It's the beginning of January and I'm back in school. Earlier one morning I was brushing my teeth and accidentally hit one of the openings. Later that day my cheek started to get hard, puffy, and warm. So I went to my schools clinic. I told them what happened and they said I need to go to the Ortho as they thought it was a infection and they don't have anything to deal with that. So I did. Went into this place and told the desk what happened and they told me I need to make an appointment!! Seriously?! They didn't even check with my doctor to see if she can see me real quick. I told them ok and set one up (the only opening they had was one that was a week later!) but by then I'm pissed off yet again. What happened if I go to the hospital for this? What happens if it got worse? What happened if it's really really serious? So I took my stuff and went all the way to my dentist office in Pheasant Ridge. They were able to get me in and checked on even though they are busy. We figured out the problem. It was an infection. We were also able to get me help to fix the infection. Overall, the people at the front desk of this specific location seem to not care about their costumers. They were there to work but not help people. They never admit that it was their fault and blamed in on everything else. Everything went well but unfortunately it came to a halt at the end. Of course, I expected to pay for the services provided as I took out my card for payment. However, I was told by not only Dr. Meyer but the new front desk staffs that it was all covered due to a "point system" that they had. Apparently, they said I had enough "points" to cover the normal cleaning service I had done that day. Confused, I asked and repeated back that the service is all covered via their "point system". Rushingly, they all basically replied yes with a really odd blank stare and persisted me to leave as everything was taken care of. I thought it was weird but I trusted them. It's been half a year later and I get a call from them telling me I have a balance due from that very day. I always thought about it and felt like that odd interaction would chase me down the road. Today, I called a recent hire explain my balance in a straightforward, polite manner. What she had explain all made sense, as I was kept up to date with my insurance coverages. She confirmed that there was no such thing as point systems and she apologized for them! I have so much pity for the sweet lady. I cried in my car both about the cost and the fact my teeth were so awful. I started having suspicions about it, especially when they never followed up on some questions. I went to another very established dentist for a second opinion, that several members of my family go to and I went to growing up, and has been around for more than 30 years. When I went to this trusted and experienced dentist, he told me that not only do I NOT need veneers, but if I were to get them it would only last 1-2 years because veneers are very fragile and because of my teeth grinding I would have ruined them and had to do it all over again. They said if and only if I actually need heavy work done, he would put in crowns, but does not see this happening anytime soon. All Smiles Dental was trying to scam me out of thousands of dollars, and veneers are not even covered by insurance. I would have ruined the veneers due to teeth grinding, and it seems any dentist should know this and not encourage people going broke over their teeth and completely ruining them. I cannot believe they do this to people and to create this financial and health stress in people's lives. I recommend going to Jain Dental in Plymouth. They are kind, trustworthy, and have many years of experience.
