I went in on Monday morning to be completely taken care of in less than 15 minutes! Other jewelers in the area talked about dropping off and a 3-4 week wait. Looking at their cases, it seems that they focus on selling quality unique pieces in addition to the jewelry services they provide. I would recommend them to a friend.

The things they sell are helpful to more than professional jewelers. My father, for example, is a botanist who studies mosses. He buys all of his hand lenses here (and then proceeds to wear them around his neck and continually get asked why he's wearing a whistle.) I like them for their beading cord and tool quality. This is the kind of place that is trying to keep itself a secret. THERE IS NO SIGN. Let me repeat that. THIS STORE DOES NOT HAVE A SIGN. They also keep their door locked a lot of the time, so you knock and look somewhat respectable and they let you in. (The store is located right next to the plasma donation place, and they apparently get some interesting characters in.) If you're an artist or a beader or a botanist/entomologist/etc. I highly suggest dropping in sometime. It will be worth your while.

I called them because it said here in a previous review that they do watch repair. It turns out they don't actually do watch repair, they only sell the parts. When I told her my name she told me to just go to my local jeweler...which I'm pretty sure I could have figured out on my own, except I didn't want to do that. Well she refused to tell me of any local shops that work on watches. This must be the only business in Columbus that has more business than they know what to do with--as they sure don't seem very welcoming to new potential business.

From the moment my engagement ring was designed, to adding my wedding band, to now handcrafting my three-year anniversary band... every single experience has been filled with kindness, care, and unmatched craftsmanship. What makes this place extraordinary is not just the jewelry--it's Edward himself. He remembers your name. He remembers your story. He treats you as if your piece is the most important one he's ever made. In a world full of commercial jewelers and rushed transactions, he gives you something rare: time, attention, honesty, and heart. Every ring he's crafted for me holds a memory, a moment, and a feeling... and somehow, he makes each new addition even more beautiful than the last. The diamonds... the quality... the artistry... nothing compares. People think going to a real jeweler means paying more, but the truth is you will not find this level of quality at these prices anywhere else. His work is exceptional, yet still accessible. Choosing Edward Warren wasn't just a purchase--it was one of the best decisions we made for our life together. He's become a part of our milestones, our celebrations, and our story. And for that, I'm forever grateful. If you want more than a ring--if you want a piece of art created with intention, passion, and genuine care--you deserve to experience this place. Truly unforgettable.

She immediately began looking into what had happened before she called me, and now has the ball rolling. It should be noted that she called from her personal cell phone and is personally making sure that everything is rectified. I dreaded the prospect of starting this process over. Until this we were genuine "five star review" customers of Worthington Jewelers from prior experience. That is what made this so shocking to me. However, Theresa has restored the image and impression we have carried of Worthington Jewelers from the first time we walked in the door. I want to make sure that I provide up to date information and reviews so that folks can see for themselves what is happening and make their own decisions. Also, if I can take the time to write a negative review, then I can certainly take the time to make sure folks know when the store steps up to the plate to make things right. Theresa - thank you. Truly. You don't know how much it means to me that you called me, and that my wife will get this gift. *** I am a repeat customer of Worthington Jewelers, so I am shocked that I have to write this review. I went in just before Valentine's Day with a request to have specific stones mounted in a yellow gold cross. Each stone was specific corresponding to a special month between my wife and I. I started working with Stephen on this. It was going to take some time which I understood. Stephen starts the process to see what needed to be done with regards to the setting, how it comes, replacing stones, etc. I was expecting and update within about a week (per Stephen) which did not come. I had to call to follow up. That led to a return call and a trip in to the store to inspect the parts. Several adjustments were needed (that is also expected in custom work for jewelry, so I was good with this). Once the revisions were decided I left the store expecting get an update within the next couple weeks at the very least. No dice. After almost a month of no contact I called and left a voicemail asking for an update. This was about two and a half weeks ago. I received no call. I made a return call and left another voicemail four days ago. I still have heard nothing from the store. I don't understand why none has taken the time to return my call, or why I'm clearly not important enough to them to take seriously. The piece I am having customized may not be a $10,000 piece of completely custom jewelry, but I am a customer. If they are not interested then at least tell me. If they are facing staffing shortages and are running behind and can't get to the work I understand that as well. I'm flexible. There are no words for the level of disappointment I feel over this. It took me a long time to come up with this idea, pick the stones that had the most meaning, and put the entire idea together. This is not easy for me to do for various reasons. This is something my wife will cherish due to the meaning behind it. She has been through several very tough years and I just wanted her to have something that would show how much I truly love her. I will still get this piece made somewhere. I just don't know where yet. Very disappointed.
