My wedding and engagement rings needed resized. The original mill grain one was very thin, and we…read morewanted the thickness and profile of the two rings to be more similar, so we decided to get a new band to mark our anniversary. The saleswoman assisted us with selecting the perfect band to complement my engagement ring. My engagement ring is an eternity style, so it is not the easiest task, to get a good complement. We selected a thin, braided, gold band. She also explained that, since I normally wear the rings together, soldering them would be beneficial, and would prevent the settings of the diamonds from needing an expensive repair. The repair took two weeks, less than the estimated three. They also replaced a watch battery, for my husband. Also, we hit a road construction delay, on the way to pick up the ring. I called, and told the staff member that we were likely to arrive just at closing, or a few minutes late. They were kind enough to stay open for us, despite, I'm sure, being ready to close up on a Friday evening. I was so happy to be able to wear the new and improved ring that weekend, while we were out and about.

I went in on Monday morning to be completely taken care of in less than 15 minutes! Other jewelers in the area talked about dropping off and a 3-4 week wait. Looking at their cases, it seems that they focus on selling quality unique pieces in addition to the jewelry services they provide. I would recommend them to a friend.

I visited this store to look for a 3 stone setting. What I found was significantly over-priced with…read moresmall, lab grown diamonds and a thin gold band for around $5000. The owner of the store asked me what I was looking for and I told her, gave her my (very reasonable) price range and she said to give her a few days to find me something and she would be in touch. I'm the meantime, she gave me her personal cell number to send pictures and info to of what I was looking for so she could be my "personal jeweler". After sending a total of 4 texts that included one picture and descriptions of what I was looking for, I was completely blown off and it's now almost a month later and she didn't even acknowledge a single text. And yes, I double checked that I had messaged the correct number before leaving this review. In the meantime, I ordered a custom piece from another jeweler. I have already received it and the price was lower than the range I gave this owner. I went to this store because I had purchased from it 20+ years ago and was very happy with my experience. Unfortunately, it is no longer the same owner as it was back then.

Now I can get over new people and mistakes but since the entire experience was horrible I mention it even though it is petty. So when I got to the rings I picked out a couple and at this point is when the lay away battle started. The lady asked me 4 different ways to put the ring on layaway at which point when she saw that I wasn't going to she got another lady who asked me and said she couldn't guarantee the price without a layaway and other things to pressure me into layaway the ring. Then another guy came over and it started all over. 15 times was the total of times I was asked, pressured and pleaded to layaway this ring. I did not bc I wanted to shop around. I went to another Kay's different city different results. They offered the exact same ring for 75.00 cheaper and no pressure told me if I came back by the end of November they would give me the same price. Definately don't recommend this store.
