So I added Kruta to my list! First, the building is so cool! It has a unique shape. Inside is nice and inviting and there's a dining area. Don't forget to take a number when you get inside! All the locals knew to do this! The donuts are behind the counter. I was a little discouraged at first when I didn't see them in the glass displays Customer service was great. My only complaint is I only purchased two donuts so they were put in a bag. The employee used parchment paper to grab the donut from the top and most of my icing was left on the paper. Why would you do that?!!! The donuts were delicious! Yummy icing. Soft. I couldn't believe how soft the cake donut was! I will definitely return!!!

I was wrong. I walked inside and noticed an almost empty display case, I would have thought that I showed up before closing time based on the limited selection. What type of a donut shop runs out before 8am! They did however have some of their namesake, which is what I was actually there for. I waited for nearly 5-10 minutes while I watched two employees behind the counter, one was taking orders from the drive thru and the other was making donuts, I think. I really couldn't tell since he was behind a wall. I waited patiently and almost considered walking out, while I was waiting the line stared to grow to nearly 8 people waiting inside the store. The employee taking drive thru orders finally stopped and apologized for the wait, only after taking nearly 5 drive thru orders all of which arrived AFTER me. Meanwhile I kept patiently waiting in the store. I ordered a Glazy Square and a Chocolate Long John, and a soda to go. Prices were reasonable, I think my order was about $3.50, however I wasn't overly impressed with the donuts. I actually prefer Kruta's, and believe it or not Casey's makes a good French Crueler but it is nice to have an option on the north side of town. Personally I wouldn't go out of my way to stop here again, but if I could offer them one piece of advice that would be to ditch the drive thru, your customers should never have to wonder whose business is more important and because of this they almost lost a customer this morning.

Holy crap the walk from my car to the building eases the guilt of eating the donut. The case was full: twisted glazed and cinnamon, cinnamon rolls, square glazed donuts, square donuts with chocolate icing, square donuts with white icing and cake donuts: Todays special was the lemon donut. The cake donuts was not what I was looking for today, but I will keep them in mind for the future. We got the traditional glazed (square) donuts. They were amazing, this is probably one of the best donuts I have ever eaten. The reason they got a 4 star was the lady at the counter was rushing me and I felt like I was annoying her...

They have both an inside and outside dining area, the inside being small and cozy, a little bit of an old school diner atmosphere. I grabbed a seat inside and was promptly greeted with a smile and given a menu by the friendly waitress. They had several options that sounded enticing. I inquired about the bacon they used on their BLT but the waitress wasn't sure except that it was a standard thin cut bacon and she thought it was tasty. Preferring thick cut bacon, I finally decided to go with the reuben sandwich with a side of crinkle potato chips. The sandwich was served to me impressively fast, less than 10 minutes and, to my surprise, the waitress offered me a sample strip of their bacon. It was surprisingly good so I may have to go with a BLT next time. Anyway, the reuben was the star of my lunch, served traditionally on perfectly grilled marbled rye bread. The sandwich was delicious, not a large amount of corned beef but enough to be well balanced with the other components of the sandwich. The corned beef itself was sliced sandwich thin, a bit chewy but otherwise delicious. I really enjoyed the sandwich. The potato chips were standard fare but tasted fresh. The highlights of the visit were the friendly staff, fast service, fairly reasonable prices and the free sample of bacon was icing on the cake. I'll return soon with my wife who is sure to order their BLT. I'll probably give their Philly cheese or french dip a try.

It was a great value for $14.95 and if you have a big family it is an affordable way to eat out and feed the whole family.
