I saw they have frozen pretzels- which is perfect because I didn't want to eat it right now. I got two of those to go. I also got a blueberry danish for my husband- he approved! And two loaves of bread- the cheese curd and the rosemary onion in the one pound option. (They have a two pound and it's huge!) We enjoyed the bread toasted with butter and for avocado toast during the week. They offered to slice the rosemary onion bread but not the cheese curd- there's something about the cheese curd that they said they don't slice it. I can't remember. But it's fine/ we sliced our own. The pecan rolls and the cinnamon rolls looked amazing but I'm more of a savory gal. The shop was super cute. They have a sourdough class coming up. They have coffees and couches. Bathrooms for customers. Some merchandise for sale. They even have a monthly club where you can pick up or have your items delivered to you! Wow! I wish I lived in the area just for this bakery. I enjoyed reading about the business on their website/ two brothers!

I had the Duluth latte, which is super sweet but tasty. My husband had the drip coffee which was also really good. We shared their cheese curd sourdough bread and it is so good! You can taste the freshness, and my husband was already making plans to have it with his breakfast tomorrow morning. The ambiance is fun and casual. They have plenty of seating with pillows shaped like bread loaves and macarons. I was definitely eyeballing that pecan caramel cinnamon roll so we may have to venture back sooner than expected. Duluth's Best Bread is a solid choice for bread, baked goods, and coffee. Ten outta ten, no notes!

I didn't realize they had three locations and it probably would have been more convenient to go to the Lincoln Park bakery but alas I found myself on the Superior side. Grateful though as parking here was easy, it wasn't crowded, but you can tell it's a local hot spot. They offer tons of cute activities for the community and have plenty of seating for you to enjoy your baked goods! I got the pizza danish, a caramel roll, and a crunchy munchkin cookie. The pizza danish was really good! Super interesting balance of herbs, pepperoni and cheese on a fluffy danish. I think it would have been better slightly toasted but that might have changed the danish to not be as soft. The caramel roll was absolutely AMAZING. Probably the best caramel roll I've ever had to be honest, I don't usually like walnuts but it was a really great balance to the super soft and fluffy roll. Usually I find caramel rolls to get too hard but it wasn't at all even after eating it a few hours after I purchased it - so delicious, I might get another on my way out of town! The cookie was my least favorite - it was more like a shortbread cookie, a bit flavorless and just buttery and a bit dry.

Pecan rolls were very good but coffee nothing to speak of- downside was barista. She was only worker and away from counter when we arrived for about five minutes. She left a note. So we waited. She was a bit abrupt. She controlled the half and half and wouldn't let me touch container and she determined what quantity was needed. Later, as we ate our roll, she attempted to place a blackboard above a cooler. She failed, it fell on her head and knocked coffee supplies to the floor. Another customer checked in on her, asking if she was ok. She replied she was fine. Customer then said that what she had done wasn't safe to which barrister responded that her commentary wasn't welcome. If I come back I hope she's having a better day and has a more pleasant demeanor.

Oh and they have açaí bowls as well. My latte was good EXCEPT I feel like they used cinnamon powder instead of the actual cinnamon syrup. I have had this same combo at other coffee shoes and also make my own at home. I was disappointed because I do not like the taste of cinnamon powder. They may have used the syrup as well the powder but I could not taste it as the drink itself was so more tart than sweet. This combo of syrups is very sweet which is why I ordered it. I do plan on being back to try out their other coffee options as well as refreshers. Lots of seating available as well.
