King Donuts' measure over 4" across and tip the scales at over 6 ounces. Think of them as a highly edible and very yummy paperweight or door stop. And speaking of stops, we stopped in around 3:15 yesterday afternoon, and even though they close at 4, the place was packed with regulars. It kind of reminded me of a town hall meeting in there! Yes, it is most definitely a local neighborhood favorite. We picked up a bag of their donut holes and some of those gargantuan donuts. The chocolate donut holes and cherry cake donuts are so delicious they really need to be classified as a controlled substance.
