I was in the mood for something sweet after running an errand, and to my surprise, there was a Dunkin' nearby on Roswell Road. It's a nice store, small footprint shaped like a shipping container with a drive thru that wraps around. The building exterior was modern and appeared new. The parking lot however was tight on space. I pulled up, walked in, and bypassed the digital ordering boards and went straight to the counter. I got an old fashioned and vanilla sprinkle for to go. All the donuts looked fresh and there was a ton of variety to choose from. It was about $3.50 for a couple of donuts which was what I'd expect to pay. I took the donuts home to eat and warmed them up and they tasted great. The checkout was a bit confusing. Like the person just walked away leaving the receipt to print on its own volition. I did a half turn, looked back, then walked away slowly just to be sure I wasn't making an error. But if you are on the run and want to grab a donut, check out this Dunks in Sandy Springs. I'm at a loss as to why because every time we go there, the service is outstanding and the donuts and coffee are fine. If I could leave 0 stars I would. This morning I ordered ahead through the app I walked in & was not greeted when I walked to the pick up area I was asked multiple times what I ordered. While I was waiting the employees were cursing and huffing & puffing while customers were in the building. Very unprofessional! Nobody told me my order was ready I was just waiting. 9.27.22 -What a joke. Rude employees. I ordered a large sweet tea today (repeated twice during the order process) to get to the window to see a small tea. I told the team member that I had ordered a large and was quickly cut down "well that's not what they put in". I asked for it to be corrected and you would have thought I asked for something impossible. Rolling eyes, tapping on the countertop...like a bratty child. I'll never spend a penny here again as this isn't the first time I have received service like this at this very location. I should also mention I couldn't drink the tea. Tasted like someone put some kind of cleaning product in there before being handed to me. Maybe I should take it to be tested. I can confidently say a lot of these rating don't reflect this Dunkin. I have been to many Dunkin's and this is by far my favorite one. Every single time my food is hot, i'm perfect shape, delicious, and my drink is made perfectly. Maybe these lower reviews are older, before their current management. I have never had a bad experience with them. Even one time they were super busy inside and took a while with my coffee, but they were super apologetic and nice to me about it and I can tell they were being genuine. I'm a big fan of DD. I've been fortunate that I've not had the problems that other reviewers have had at this location. I got a medium black coffee and some old fashioned donuts. My coffee tasted fine and my donuts tasted fresh. So no complaints there....Maybe the owners read the complaints and fixed the problems. Never know.... My only complaint is of course the teeny tiny parking lot that only Barbie's car man maneuver around. The drive thru is sorta scary. Tight spot to be stuck in that's for sure. It's also by a red light and I can't seem to time it right. Luckily when I was here someone was nice enough to let me cut in...thanks.... Today is June 15th 12:51pm and i went up to the drive through very excited to order a bacon egg and cheese croissant and i was highly disappointed to hear the workers say that "their kitchen is closed" my whole 21 years of living i have never heard Dunkin' Donuts say that their kitchen is closed .. there seemed to be two people working at the time a man and a women and I'm just baffled and confused as to how the kitchen is closed when they aren't really cooking anything just throwing items into the oven to be warmed ... they literally don't even have to make the donuts as if it were Krispy Kreme ... they literally come in every morning in a truck . Horrible service at this location I am honestly shocked at the way these employees treat people. I understand they are probably understaffed but their are better ways to handle it. Locking the doors and only allowing drive thru customers with no signs on the doors or anything, telling me they won't serve me because Im not in my car. It is unacceptable. On multiple occasions they closed their kitchen early and refused to make the food I ordered on the app and did not offer a refund. And they mess up your drink more often than not. i ordered on the app this morning as soon as the store opened. I was running late and arrived around 5 minutes after opening. The front door was locked and no one answered the drive-thu. I saw a staff member inside on her phone and wearing airpods. I tried to get her attention but she did not see me. I waited for 15 minutes to get my mobile order but no one ever helped me. But one of my biggest problems is when I ask for something specific through DoorDash and they substitute it without giving me a notification or a message. Because if I don't what I want.
