I had forgotten about their approach to donuts but overall it was a decent experience on my first visit to the Royal Palm location. The sunrise and maple bacon donuts were solid. How Duck Donuts does it is that they cook the donuts the same then do the glaze and toppings to order based on the flavor varietals they have. They didn't have the peanut butter one I originally wanted so I had to opt for plan be which was the sunrise, consisting of lemon glaze and raspberry drizzle. Not my first choice to go but it was alright. The maple bacon was decent. You can watch the servers prepare your order, which was cool. Location-wise, it's fairly open space with a few tables but it's more for ordering and picking up. But you can enjoy them at the establishment if there are tables available. I would be curious about their breakfast sandwiches since they make them with the donuts. Hopefully they have the peanut butter one next time.

The signature ring shape makes them so easy to pull apart and share (or just eat by yourself, no judgment). * Standout Flavors: The Ube is a must--it has a beautiful purple glaze and a subtle, sweet vanilla-coconut vibe. If you like a crunch, the Cookies & Cream or the Cereal toppings are top-tier. The Korean Corn Dogs But honestly? Don't leave without getting a Korean Corn Dog. They are made to order, so they come out piping hot and incredibly crispy. * The Go-To: Get the Half & Half (half mozzarella, half hot dog) coated in Potato cubes. It's the perfect mix of savory, salty, and a little sweet if you opt for the sugar sprinkle on top. * For the Bold: The Hot Cheetos or Crispy Ramen coatings add a crazy level of crunch that stays crispy even after the drive home. Pair your food with an Ube Milk Tea or a Thai Tea with boba. The sweetness cuts through the savory corn dog perfectly And even though I didn't get the young ladies name she was working there Saturday evening she did an amazing job handling a rush by herself we came in with just us 3 and she was soon hit with a 10/12 people rush and she maintained her job and did it well

We wound up getting iced teas and rice hotdogs instead. Both were very good. We didn't try the donuts this time so I can't talk about them... I got a peach iced tea. A fat hot dog encrusted in a crispy outside and served on a stick. We got sone mustard to go with it, but they even have mango habanero sauce if you want spicy. The dogs were filling. Glad we gave them another try. Next time we will try the donuts again.

Although there was a line, it moved quickly. We decided to share a Cuban sandwich plus we each got a pastry for dessert. You order and pay at the register and pick up your order when they call your name at the other end of the counter. They have so many varieties of pastries, desserts, and cakes on display that's it is hard to choose. The Cuban sandwich was excellent. Slightly warm on pressed fresh Cuban bread. And the pork, ham, and cheese inside were very good as well. In fact, it was one of the better Cuban sandwiches we've had in quite awhile. For dessert, my husband got a guava and cheese pastelito. It's in the shape of a turnover. Not too sweet because the cheese tempers the sweetness of the guava. It is one of his favorites. I tried a chocolate Napoleon with merengue. The top layer had the chocolate glaze and there were thick meringue layers between each pastry layer. It was a bit gloppy and not the easiest to eat. Very sweet but good. I brought half home. Yes, they are a quite popular chain. But they have a pretty good and efficient system working at this location. And lots of staff proficient in both English and Spanish. I know we will be back.

The storefront is combined with a coffee shop called Cumbres and it is very cozy. While the baked goods are decent, this is easily one of the most poorly managed places I've visited. The staff seemed untrained and disorganized. Service was slow, multiple orders (including mine) were incorrect, and there was no apology or effort to make it right. The space itself felt dirty and chaotic, which only added to the overall experience. The pricing is also hard to justify -- $50 for a dozen pastries in Wellington is excessive, especially when better quality and significantly better service can be found for less. There are simply better options with stronger execution and more professionalism.

There were yummy vegan chocolate chip cookies (they do have peanut butter and peanuts so just be alert if you have allergies. I was grateful that the ingredients ere listed because my son is allergic to peanuts) vegan oreo cakes in a jar, strawberry shortcakes in a jar and little bite size chocolate bits (so incredibly yummy). It doesn't have to be refrigerated because there is no dairy in it - so it is up to you if you want to have them cold or not. I opted to put them in the refrigerator and then have them sit for a few minutes before diving into them! Definitely check this gem out!! Delicious and tasty! The event is held in the cities of Atlanta,, Orlando, Tampa, Miami and this year in West palm Beach at the Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds. You have your choice of a VIP entry which gives you 50 dessert sample tickets and lets you into the event an hour early and a general admission, 30 ticket entry, Both include a small plastic box so you can take a some treats home with you. I had previously attended the event in Miami and West Palm Beach was miles better. It still had a lot of people in attendance but it did not feel as crowded. It was also much cleaner. Garbage cans were constantly emptied, debris was cleaned up, and the bathrooms were spotless. The reason to come to Dessert Wars is to try what seems like an endless assortment of desserts and it did not disappoint. Some highlights were all of the cookies and cupcakes from Anna Bakes, Midnight Mo's cookies, La Gringuita stuffed cookies, Lo's Pie Shop pies, Euphoria Desserts, The Biscuit Lady's Bakehouse, The Crumb Up cookies, Alfies Peruvian alfajores, Nikki's Jazzy Sweets, D&R Sweets chocolate covered strawberries, The Green baker's CBD oil pear marshmallows, Phuse Cream macaron ice cream sandwiches, and Wickedly's pumpkin latte cookies. There were 50 vendors serving ice cream, donuts, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, churros, pie, baklava, and so much more. This event is always worth attending. It is important to note that tickets are only sold online, not at the door. They sell out so buy early. Speaking of early, it pays to get here when they open. We arrived an hour before our timed entry so we could be at the front of the line. They give you a box to take some sweets home but bring your own container as well. At the end of the end of the event you can pretty much take as much as you want of what is left. Most importantly don't forget to vote! I found so many new places that I will follow on social media and I look forward to visiting their brick and mortar locations. May the best sweet purveyor win!

We LOVE PapiChulo!…read more We were first introduced to them last year during a team spirit night for our local travel softball team. A mutual friend connected us with the manager, Stefani, and from the very beginning she was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. She made the whole process seamless and got us on the schedule--and after such an amazing experience, we knew we had to come back again this year, for another event! Last year also introduced a lot of our families to this location, as we all have been frequent flyers! Tonight was just as fantastic. We arrived around 6:00 PM, and by 6:30 all 12 of our families (about 50 people!) were settled on the patio. Our server was attentive, friendly, and truly on top of everything. As someone who's worked in the industry, I know how challenging it can be to manage a group that size--especially with lots of kids--and she handled it like a pro! The food did not disappoint! We started with queso and chips (a must!), and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the tuna tostada and a birria taco, my girls enjoyed a quesadilla and chicken fingers from the kids menu, and my husband had the taco salad. The portions were generous, and every bite was so good. And you definitely need to check out happy hour! If you get there before 6 PM, they offer great food and drink specials. The Mango Tango (I ordered mine without jalapeños) was amazing, my husband loved the Watermelon Smash, and another parent couldn't stop raving about the Pineapple Mojito. If you're part of a local sports team looking for a fun way to host a team dinner and raise funds, this is a perfect spot. And if you're in the Royal Palm/Wellington area--trust me, you NEED some PapiChulo in your life. You won't be disappointed!
