First of all our app had a problem where it charged us and ended up not placing the order. But the wonderful team here went and made our order for us since it charged our card anyways. They were very nice and considerate about the situation and I would gladly come here again! The business is great, we had a party of four families and there was a man there that was very kind and generous, he gave me free samples and I bought three glazed munchkins and the man was so kind that he gave me six, the food is amazing the drinks are delicious but need a little work. On Valentine's Day today (and my wife and my anniversary) we pulled into the Rhinelander drive-thru because we were in the mood for hot cocoa. I ordered two hot cocoas and proceeded to move forward to the window to pay. When the window opened I extended my hand holding the money and he shook his head as if to say "no." I said, "Pardon?" not quite sure why he was refusing my money. He then held out a cup and said the cocoa machine was broken so he made up some hot cocoa just from their mix. He didn't know if it was going to be Dunkin' -quality so there was no charge. He was super nice and my wife and I drove off with two excellent cups of hot cocoa. I am guessing this gentleman might be the store's manager and he could teach so many businesses in America today how to foster customer goodwill. We'll certainly be back every time we're in Rhinelander. read more

I have the best experience on Friday, February 4 2022 at the Dunkin' Donuts in Rhinelander Wisconsin. The two employees working the early morning shift were so nice! They made a great team! One of the featured donuts is a chocolate donut with a mini Stroop waffle cookie on it. She explained to me where Stroop Waffles coke from and how the original ones can be placed on top of a cup of coffee and then the Carmel part melts into your cup. Also the best donut I think I've had there is the new featured brownie batter one! If you are grabbing a dozen donuts you can't go wrong with 6 of these!! read more

Always busy and always understaffed, but still a nice place to sit and relax with a coffee and treat. On our last visit there was only one lady working both the store and drive through on a saturday afternoon so it was a bit of a wait for our coffees but they have plenty of plugs and free wifi so we didn't mind! The gal was also very nice. My coffee was a little burnt tasting, I had the peppermint mocha but my boyfriends iced egg nog latte was great! Overall, it's a nice place to chill if you bring a laptop, book, or something to do. We will stop by again! read more

Personally I love coming to Dunkin'.Unfortunately today that was not the case. There was a girl there that was taking our order and she was rude. She wouldn't let me finish my order without constantly asking "is that it". We ordered a dozen doughnuts and you could tell that she threw in the "ugly ducklings" as you could say. Been to Dunkin' Donuts 1000th times back on the East Coast. This is by far the most poorly staffed location I have ever experienced. I've never had a bad experience with the employees but I also have never gotten an order 100% correct. The regular employees have no idea how to make the most basic of foods or choose not to follow the order and end up giving you something you did not ask and pay for. Store opened up in the summer of 2014 so I understood growing pains originally but the fact that it has now been nearly 6 months and the still can't get orders right is beyond preposterous. The one bright side of the staff is that manager seems to genuinely care and understand what is going on and if you are lucky enough to order while she is there, you'll at least get an apology and maybe even a "Sorry we don't know how to make a bacon, egg and cheese" refund. The only thing that has me coming back is my genuine love for how delicious the food at Dunkin' is supposed to be. I'll continue to go every time I need a good (in theory) bagel or donut and hope that they eventually learn how to slice, toast, and smear cream cheese onto a bagel. read more

We needed a quick breakfast, so made the mistake of stopping through again. We figured by this time they HAD to have gotten better. So we hit the drive-thru. I asked for two toasted bagels with cream cheese. Bagels came out somewhat warm, and they gave me two self-spread packs of cream cheese. Seriously kids... I'm in a car, driving. And you can't even spread cream cheese on the bagels for me? So much for "fresh" and "convenient". And the bagels weren't toasted.... they were flat out burnt. Passenger got a a breakfast sandwich and tater-tot hash-brown ... things. Somehow managed they were both cold, and burnt! How long do you think those had been sitting around? The owner of this place owns a few other businesses in town, but has apparently not learned a thing on how to put out a good product or provide customer service, which is no real surprise. Best thing that could happen is he sells it to someone who actually gives a rip. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Not only does the staff seem like they might have some mental deficiencies the food is inedible. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich. It's was two big pieces of heavily buttered Texas toast and a piece of cheese with two little measly pieces of ham. So little ham I wouldn't have known it was there if I didn't look. My girlfriend ordered a chicken sandwich ok a pretzel bun. Not only was the flavor horrendous, I tried it, the chicken was so rubbery that you could barely bite through it. Even if I would've been able to bite through the piece I tried I wouldn't have even wanted that thing in my mouth. Another gripe is they don't even have custard filled donuts. ISNT THIS A DONUT SHOP? A custard filled donut is about as basic of a donut as anyone could ask for. read more

What can I say I'm originally from New England so of course I'm going to go to Dunkin Donuts after being away from home for almost 5 years (not offered on the west coast). Still what I remember it being...awesome iced coffees and the donuts are fresh! The service here is great, everyone is friendly (wish I could say that from back home). If you're looking for a fancy pants coffee I suggest going elsewhere if you can't stick to what they have on the menu. I mean this is no Starbucks in which I absolutely love. One would say I am a coffee snob as I only buy whole beans and grind them right before putting hot water over them in my French press. Grotesque service. The first time I went here, they took 15 minutes on my order of 1 small black coffee... And messed it up. The entire crew there is terrible, they roll eyes and yell at customers, act flippant and tell you to contact HQ. They are disorganized and don't know how to speak like humans, let alone like paid workers: The second time I went here, they LITERALLY opened our conversation with "Dunkin' Donuts. What do you want?" I decided to try and use the coupons I got for the mess that that was my previous visit, so today I asked for a Coolatta. The woman over the drive-thru intercom responded with "Guess what: We discontinued the Oreo flavors." That's fine and all, but can you really snap at me like that when you haven't taken it off the drive-thru menu or even stuck a piece of tape over the option?? Rather than let me know what they had, she let me ask for several more flavors that they were also out of before giving me different options. When I got my product, there was no whipped cream on the top and it was only half full. After I paid for the order, she handed me the cup saying "we ran out of whipped cream too" and did not bother to ask if it was okay, if I still wanted the product OR EVEN FILL UP THE CUP THE REST OF THE WAY to make up for what was missing in the cup. She dropped this gem on me after the exchange was over "I had to put a coffee flavor shot in since we ran out of the flavors. Hope you like my experiment." Well, seeing how that stuff is made for HOT coffee and does not reach proper consistency or flavor in a cold drink, no. I did not like it enough to even get 1/4th of the way through the drink before just dumping it. It may have been okay if it had some ice in it, but unfortunately what I received had absolutely none. DO NOT GO HERE. For the love of god, go to Coffee Beans Etc. It may be a little more expensive, but you won't have pissed off teen moms spitting on your sandwich. read more

I used the Dunkin App. I figured this designed to make my Dunkin experience special. I ordered my 4 Boston Creme Donuts and a Black Coffee. It was easy and paid for, all I have do is stop in and pick up my order. If only it were that easy. I stopped into the Dunkin Shop and when I was finally noticed, I said I had an order to pick up. The manager said "I have your coffee, but she got all of my Boston Creme Donuts." No idea who she is, but imagine the coincidence. When I looked at the showcase to see what else might be available, all I saw were cake donuts. Lots of them in all shapes and sizes. I did not want a cake donut so I asked how long it would take to make more Boston Creme Donuts she smiled and said "A long time." Not 10 minutes, not 35 minutes, not we aren't making more. "A long time", which I translated to be - take some of these cake donuts I am stuck with. Since I didn't want a cake donut, I said I guess she would have to cancel the order. She had no idea how to do that, nor did she know how to credit it back to the card. After prodding, she finally remarked, I guess I'll have to refund the cash. I left with a coffee, no receipt and a bad taste in my mouth. This is not the first time that all this shop had was leftover donuts, but I figured the app would make the experience better. read more

Do you know why people there are poorly staffed its because the ceos don't want to staff it they expect them run it by one person the manager ahead of the mangers don't want to train people they are poorly trained they don't care they are getting their money. I don't think the service is bad as most people say it is? maybe some people acted different than they claim they did, always two sides to a story, tho yes the customer is always right so maybe some workers were rude but who knows. However I went there for a Banana Smoothie and they didn't have that so they gave me a few donuts so they were nice about it! And I got some free donuts. But still I don't see why they don't have certain things on the menu here at this dunkin donuts. Seems to me the menu should be the same at every Dunkin Donuts and they should serve the entire menu and same things at every Donkin donut place. read more

I've been coming here on and off since they first opened. At first the coffee seemed great. The past 3 times I've stopped the coffee has been very watery. It tastes like it sat in the coffee pot for 12 hours and then they served it. The food is just as good as the coffee.. Bland. Donuts are horrible, they are so dry it tastes like I shoved 12 saltines in my mouth at once. Decided to give them a chance the other day and I ended up pulling around to the front of the building to wait for my iced macchiato.. mind you I had one person in front of me who also had to wait. 5 minutes later he brought her coffee out. I waited a good 10 minutes before he walked out with my coffee. No other customers there! No apology for the wait either. Rhinelander needs to drop Dunkin Donuts and bring in Bigby or Starbucks. If you're looking for some really good coffee, stop at Briar House. Its always fresh and really good. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! Walked out twice in day! First time, 10:30 am Monday. There was a man being waited on, and another man with 2 small children in front of us. As we stood there for over 15 min, several other people came in and stood in line behind us. That whole time, the line did not move. The employee didn't seem like he even saw what was happening. he laughed with the customer. Another employee was also behind the counter but made no effort to wait on anyone. People behind us were making nasty comments and swearing. My husband and I decided to walk out. Since we couldn't get through the line behind us, we walked past the counter and out through the restaurant. On the way past the counter, I said " It would be nice to get waited on yet today". So, we went shopping and to lunch, and went back to get the donuts we originally came for. There was barely anything left in the donut display shelves. This was now about 2pm. Nothing had been restocked. Again, we walked out. How do they expect to see donuts if there are none available. It is a place where one goes to buy donuts, right? I purchased coupons for Rhinelander Dunkin Donuts. We live 25 miles away, so it's not we can go there every day to see if we can get served or if there is even anything in the display to buy.
