The bakery was super clean, all the desserts looked fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. Most of all, I loved the customer service! Since it was my first time, I had a few questions, including whether they had a menu. The gentleman assisting me was so pleasant and explained that because they have so many new pastries, it can be difficult to keep one menu completely up to date. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, which really made a great first impression. I also noticed they have summer hours starting at 6 AM, so if you're an early bird looking for breakfast before your commute or part of your morning routine, definitely check them out! They have so many different options, including sandwiches. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more!

When I lived in a nearby town anytime there was a reason to buy any baked good I would come here. Now I live far and I hate being far when a function arises. Now they have expanded and upgraded their look (I went maybe a year or two ago intentionally). This spot is worth it. Enjoy.

This past Friday was an epic disaster-There were patry trays being made, people with tickets in their hand, and online tickets dangling, from the machine lonely as the last fall leaves. To her credit the woman working there was plugging away and not rushing through, and who can fault her for management's failure to hire and or step in when situations like this arise? The first cake I ever ordered from Pinho's was a beautiful double-stacked birthday cake. The craftsmanship was incredible. It was artistic, aesthetically beautiful, extremely high quality, and tasted just as good as it looked. Unfortunately, after picking it up, we made a mistake transporting it in the car and the cake completely fell apart on the way home. This was entirely OUR fault, not the bakery's. We brought it back about an hour later hoping there was anything they could possibly do to save it. What happened next is the reason I'm writing this review. The owner went completely above and beyond for us. She stayed HOURS later than she needed to, personally working to rebuild and restore our cake. She somehow managed to bring it back to life and make it beautiful again. She didn't charge us anything for all that extra time and work, and then, incredibly, even gave us another cake on the side. That kind of kindness and dedication to a customer is something I won't forget. I'm back at Pinho's again now for another birthday because after that experience, choosing where to get the cake wasn't even a question. Their cakes are beautiful, creative, high quality, and absolutely delicious, but it's the people behind them that made me a returning customer. 5/5 for the cake. 11/10 for the service. Thank you again for what you did for us. You turned what could have been a birthday disaster into a memory we'll always have.

Funny thing is, just a few minutes earlier my friend went in, asked the same question, and they told her, "You have to buy something first to use the bathroom." She left without buying anything. So which is it? Why change the rules depending on the person? Kind of ironic too.... this place sells coffee, which we all know sends people running to the bathroom in about twenty minutes.
