With that obligatory disclaimer out of the way, I can say that this is pretty much everything an express Starbucks needs to be. They scan your store card if you have one, which means rewards can totally be applied. The only thing I wish these inner-Target Starbucks' had is mobile ordering. To date, I have never been able to place a mobile order at a Target-Starbucks. Ever. Not sure if this is by design or just a glitch in the Matrix. But I really wish they'd get on the ball with this one. It'd be nice to just...have my order ready when I arrive at the pickup desk. The staff are friendly enough for NH standards and the hot breakfast items are available here as well. They were unfortunately out of tea and as a non coffee drinker I wasn't sure what to get, so the barista recommended an ice chi with coconut. I grabbed a couple proteins balls and my husband had an Iced Americano with maple syrup. The barista was very friend and helpful. Our drinks were very well made and tasty. The PB protein was flavorful and filling. My husband said his Americano was right up there as one of the best he's had. If you're in Hudson make sure you stop and check out this cute little trailer for good drink and friendly staff. The heart straws were a nice touch.

I stopped in here twice recently. On my first visit, I picked up a package of sugar cookies to snack on at work. However, the cookies were extremely hard and tough to eat. On my recent visit, I stopped in here for some lunch takeout and decided to order to try the $5.99 Buffet. I got the Beef Stew, with rice, beans, and a lettuce salad with pico de gallo, which was a good sized portion of food dished out into the styrofoam takeout container. The Beef Stew was very good with great flavors and had big chunks of very tender and soft slow cooked beef, carrots, potatoes in a spicy sauce. The short grain Mexican rice was decent and cooked just right. The red beans were cooked firm, not mushy. Overall, the hot lunch I had, though not fancy, tasted pretty good and was filling! As for the baked goods, I'd skip the packaged cookies next time, and get a slice of frosted cake or a danish instead.

With the word "gourmet" I honestly expect some creative flavor options, and for the basics to be skillfully made with quality ingredients. The hot coffee I had was good though. The service was slow. Yes, they're juggling drive-thru and in-store orders, but there has to be a more efficient way of handling counter service and drive-thru ops. I was going to give reluctant (bc of the excessive plastic) bonus points for the coffee lid, because it is *substantial* -- it almost feels reusable, the plastic is so thick -- but the flippy portion broke off when I tried to lock it open. Not a big deal if you're in the passenger seat, and once I found it I could push it back on, but if you're driving, it's at minimum annoying, and potentially a mess. I don't think ambiance is applicable, since there was no seating, but it looked like maybe it used to be an auto parts store? There was a big empty counter with shelves on the way in, and scattered ceiling tiles and fixtures with cars and things like "STP" and "Goodyear." So, I didn't consciously factor ambiance into my rating, but I suppose it might of subconsciously affected my impression. Now, if it were name was "Basic Donuts and Good Coffee," I'd have given an extra star, but not only were the expectations created by the word "gourmet" not met, but the donuts and service didn't even meet those of basic mass-produced chains.

He seemed like I was bothering him and laughed at the fact I waited very long. He gave me the most green strawberrries they had and that was just horrible my 9 year old ate them still because he wanted them reason why I waited the long time and walked out back to find an employee but quality was very poor and the manager didn't seem to worried about the front of the store being unattended when I called this morning to explain my experience and inconvenience
