The flights, like everything here, are very reasonably priced and a fun way to try different flavors. I've noticed in my time going here that they always keep up with trends, like adding lemonade flights and energy drinks. I don't usually order hot food, but I've loved the sandwiches I've tried. Like the drinks, they have quality ingredients and fun recipes. I've visited off hours and during rushes, and the staff is always prompt and organized. The atmosphere is great for hanging out and they keep close ties to the community, such as selling art and allowing by local businesses to display their business cards. I recently stopped buying coffee out to save money, but I'll absolutely this local business whenever I'm craving a treat.

It's moist, dense, perfect. I've had PUC where it is more of a sponge cake cake, but there's is on another level. The toppings of pineapple and cherries were equally good and the cake had an amazing caramely character to it. Also not sure if sweet/condensed milk is in the recipe, but I thought I tasted a little in the cake. It was subtle as if they poured a little on the bottom of the box before placing my cake into it. The bottom was perfectly cooked and I got a lot of caramel notes throughout the cake. It had been sitting in the box just long enough to soak up all that delicious moistness, but not so long it lost its crumble or edges. Totally bomb. Totally recommend it! I also want to mention the women that work there are our absolute favorites. We have met 3 or 4 and they are all just entirely pleasant, sweet ladies who always have an engaging story. Unfortunately, it was one of the the biggest disappointments of an otherwise beautiful day. The cake was EXTREMELY dry, to the point of staleness. Our guests took a bite and pushed it aside. Several members of our family remarked that it was very dry. We understand that gluten-free baking can be challenging, but we've had many excellent gluten-free cakes elsewhere. Given Jacque's reputation and the premium price we paid, we expected a much higher-quality product. The customer service afterward was even more disappointing. I contacted the bakery and spoke to Jacque directly, twice. I requested at least a 50% refund or a credit for a non gluten free cake, believing either of these options was a fair resolution. Jacque responded by raising his voice and saying "absolutely not, it's not my fault". Then added "I just had surgery". My response was, "you are the business owner, so yes, it is your fault." Jacque stated that they buy a mix from a manufacturer that he did not name. I was shocked by both his response and lack of empathy for such an important occasion. I have never left a negative review for any business but couples deserve to know what our experience with gluten free was like. We trusted Jacque's with an important part of our son's wedding, and both the cake and the way our concerns were handled fell far short of our expectation.

That sandwich came with a broccoli salad, mixed with a house dressing. If you haven't already, I highly suggest the sandwich and the salad. He ate it pretty quickly so I'm thinking it was good. On this first visit I ordered a medium Americano. It has a bit of an espresso bite and was a good strength. They left room in the cup for milk which is available at the coffee station along w/half & half, flavor shots, sweeteners, paper cup holders and lids. Coffee beverages include latte, cappuccino, espresso shots and more. Milk alternatives are available for an additional charge. Our second visit, a Saturday, there was a line to the door. We both ordered medium drip coffees. We were given paper cups and filled them ourselves from the vacuum pump dispensers at the coffee station. This day had regular, decaf, french vanilla, hazelnut and maple coffee varieties. The coffee was a good temperature to drink right away and had a smooth finish. Very good. Third visit, a Sunday, the line to order was out the door. We had a long drive and were anxious to be on the road and decided to just stop along the way. We should have waited. This coffee is far superior to what we ended up with. Don't be like us. It's worth a wait.
