Absolutely atrocious GM behavior!! I was visiting today like I always do for my morning coffee and muffin, when the what I assume, is the general manager, the lady with glasses and short grey hair, was threatening the blonde girl in drive thru with her job, all because the poor girl was trying to explain! Then she proceeds to belittle her and accuse her of having an attitude, it was sickening! All the girl was trying to do was explain and she couldn't even get a word out without her JOB being threatened. Absolutely unacceptable behavior for a superior. ESPECIALLY in front of a full lobby. Donuts were not very fresh and had very few to choose from. I don't know if it was because of it being a weekday or just like that evening.

I was very excited when this shop opened after its renovations, but quickly became disenchanted. Ordinarily, the staff at any and all Dunkin's are friendly, courteous and efficient. However, what I don't need at six a.m. is a kid with attitude that gives the impression that he's doing me a favor. Now, calling out an individual typically isn't my gig, but in this case, Dunkin, if you're going to put Devin in front of customers either on the drive-thru window or the register than let him know that treating customers with a friendly smile and courteous conversation is what allows him a paycheck. If this were a one-off situation I wouldn't complain, but it's not. I don't blame the kid, I'll point the finger to the person(s) that allegedly trained him. To add injury to insult, what is up with the inconsistencies? I am a creature of habit and order the same exact beverage everyday and everyday it's different. Either there's not enough milk, or there's WAY too much; three ice cubes - 10,000 ice cubes. Okay that's an exaggeration, but seriously, machines make most of these drinks, there are fill lines on the cups. I don't understand why my iced coffee is a daily crap shoot. Note: This pertains to the shop on Neuse...the shop on Glenburnie gets it right every time, but they're always too crowded....hmmm, I wonder why? read more

I have to say, out of the now THREE Dunkin Donuts in New Bern, the one on Neuse Boulevard, hands down has the friendliest staff. When I come through the drive through window, Stephanie has a smile that brings the sun out on a cloudy, rainy day. I appreciate that chirpiness and friendly tone the staff at this location has. Saw this location under construction for a while and now i get to experience their new Dunkin' Donuts location right here in the heart of New Bern. When you first enter the store, it's spacious and you actually have a couple of places to sit down and just take a sip of your coffee and a nice bite of your donut before heading back out. Customer service is fantastic. The employees that work here accomodate your orders and always have a smile on their faces. Donuts!! We know how donuts run out sometimes, but this place has a variety of flavors and you get a chance at the flavor of donut you want before it runs out like most places. All in all, thank you for bringing Dunkin' Donuts right here in New Bern. read more

I work extremely close by and will drive ten minutes out of my way to go to Starbucks. I went in and asked if they'd fill up a reusable cup and they said I was disrespectful for asking (had a small Starbucks logo on it, it has a big mermaid on it). The cup I use is $3 and like I mentioned, reusable. They basically laughed in my face for asking. I had to ask if they were even serious. Any other coffee shop will use them and just give me a cup holder with their logo on it and it makes no difference. It was very rude. read more

So I just saw an ad for Dunkin Donuts Frozen Hot Chocolate. I went in about 9:35pm (closes at 10pm) and ordered one. She said she couldn't do it because they already took the machine apart for cleaning. Way to go with trying to get people to order your new products. Update: 9:15 is still too late. Update #2: I called the next morning and asked the manager what time they take the machine down. He said you can order the full menu from open to close. He assured me it wouldn't happen again. I tried again this evening only to be told the same thing. He acknowledged knowing about the note the manager had left instructing them not to take it down. Do not visit this shop. If you want to go to Dunkin donuts, go to James City and visit the one at Taberna. I was in the Neuse Blvd shop last night, and was treated rudely, as well as had the worst cup of coffee ever. This is the worst Dunkin Donuts location I have ever visited. My boyfriend & I placed an "On The Go" order while pumping gas 2miles away. The beverages we ordered were standard coffee orders. When we arrived to the order window, & then instructed to pull forward, we discovered our order had not been prepared AND the order came out wrong. The premise of the "On the Go" order was to save time; this took longer than expected. When asked what would have been faster, going in or using the app, the person at the window said it depended on who was working. The convenience of an app should not be indicative as to whom is working. This DD needs to restructure desperately. Do not use this location. New Bern has two other locations that are more than capable to provide adequate service. read more

I get coffee from here quite often. The staff is friendly and there's usually not too much of a wait. My order is always correct and the coffee is delicious. read more

We had showed up thinking we still had another hour before closing time, but once we walked up to the store we saw the hours were different than what was posted online. However, Qu'Ron was exceptionally helpful! He still helped us with only 6 minutes left until the store closed. He was upbeat and friendly, and more than willing to assist us. The store manager, David, made my coffee incorrectly, copped an attitude, yelled at me to get out of his store, then came outside to write my license plate down. All because I wanted my coffee made correctly. I did not raise my voice, have an attitude, nor did I use any profanity. I called the corporate office because of his level of unprofessionalism, was told that I would receive a call from the district manager, but it has been a week and no word. It seems as though David is subscribing to the "norm" in this country... treating a black person like dirt, then claiming they were the threat. Shameful. read more

Great place to stop. Staff is friendly, everything is clean and, come on, it's a doughnut shop! Fast service with a creative twist for serving every order! My only complaint is that they need a bigger parking area. read more
