He proceeded to not wash his hands after handling the cash as he packaged the everything bagels that were very unevenly cooked, the outsides were half black and burnt to a crisp. I asked him politely if he could not use the burnt ones and he looked at me flatly and put extra bagels in the bag which were equally burnt. Taste-wise they were terrible and not what I've come to expect from Spread. Just a bad experience all around and I don't recommend this place to anyone.

When we originally started coming to Turning Point everything was outstanding and fresh and new which may have been part of why I feel there has been a decline in the quality of experience here, while I may just be wrong. However, I feel that over time and several management changes, the feeling of quality has dissipated from the restaurant compared to the first year that it was open. It feels much more chain restaurant-y now and the seasonal food offerings are as exciting and everything seems to be made with zero effort and no zest for cooking. Whereas before, everything was served very fresh, bright, and hot, it simply doesn't have that feeling any longer. The coffee is still great, and the food is still good, but it's lacking a certain something. Coming here for the first time was actually what started me on my French press journey, and I actually enjoy a small personal size French press coffee every morning at home now ever since. If you haven't tried Turning Point yet, I definitely think you should. In the scheme of places that are similar, like First Watch and Nudy's, in my opinion this is the best. But I would prefer to go to a small family-owned place. That said, I still LOVE the fireplace in the winter!

The Penn Valley Wawa is on the way towards downtown Narberth and Bala Cynwyd so it is usually packed during the week. However, the fantastic staff keep the lines running smoothly. Another great thing about this Wawa is the parking, which is very easy compared to other local Wawas. Food wise, this Wawa is great. Fresh takeaway items, refreshing drinks and homemade hoagies and hand spun milkshakes. The renovations have resulted in some more coffee and soda options. Hoagie wise, I feel that Wawa always does a solid job. However, I have always preferred Subway or a true Philly hoagie compared to Wawa's hoagies. However, with a new kitchen and the Bryn Mawr Subway closed this may be my new go to hoagie spot. The store is always well kept by the staff. If you come enough they will eventually get to know you by name. It gives this Wawa a mom and pop feel. This Wawa is always well stocked with utensils, condiments and garnishes. Finally, this is the only Wawa where every staff member knows how to use the Wawa app. I love the renovations and I can't wait to return!
