Stopped by this Dunkin' while headed to Luray Caverns. I'm from the west coast so this was only my 2nd Dunkin' experience. Maybe that's why I had the experience I did; perhaps the employees could smell the Oregon that wafted off my flannel and Hokas. We walked in and stood at the counter for a solid 3 minutes before one of the high school-aged girls deigned to take our order. Before that there was a trio of them huddled behind the counter like a troop of Emperor Penguins trying to keep out a chill Arctic wind (or the customers, in this case). When the girl that drew the short straw to take our order finally came to the register, she didn't even say anything, she just stood there and gave us the lead paint stare () as if it would have been more normal to see a Grizzly Bear ordering a coffee than actual human customers. I order our food, and I have to repeat our 3 doughnut selection at least 4 times. In the moment, I could have sworn I saw my words enter one of her ears and exit the other in a wisp of pink, Victoria's Secret-scented smoke. I give Mean Girls Dunkin' a 2/5 because the food was actually decent. read more

Chk 7838, 3/20/2024; 12pm. Employees working were: 1 - Kiara P. (at drive thru window, Lily A., and Lacey T.). I was driving and my sister was in the front passenger seat. When we pulled up to the drive thru, Kiara asked what we'd like to order. I asked for a moment to look over the menu. We wanted 2 sandwiches, 2 hash browns, & 2 frozen drinks. We had questions about the sandwiches, and it was obvious that Kiara was getting more & more impatient with us; saying several times, "Is that all?". I said firmly, "NO". I finished our order, and she abruptly read the order back to us. When we got to the window, my sister asked Kiara if she was the girl taking our order. Kiara replied that she was. My sister stated, "You were rude/impatient with us". Kiara stated, "Nope, I was not rude to you, you can ask my coworkers, not rude to you at all". Then, she shuts the drive-thru window while I'm in mid-sentence. I pulled around, parked the car, and went inside. I asked to speak to the manager. The employees said, "We don't have a manager". I said, "OK, do you have an owner?". Either Lily or Lacey (heavyset) stated that the owner was in Florida and that they would not release her phone number". The heavyset girl & Kiara continued to argue with me about how NOT rude she was. The heavyset girl starts yelling (literally) at me about how we were confusing about the sandwiches, I stated for her to stop her yelling. I have been a customer service manager for more than 25 years. Always, in my extensive experience when a customer is not pleased, the employees' job is to de-escalate NOT add fuel to the fire. Kiara said, "Do you want your order or not, that she could gladly refund us. The food was in front of me, I threw the food on the floor, and I said, "Fine, absolutely, refund me". Kiara refunded my money, and said, "Now, leave. You are not welcome here". I will NOT be back to the Luray Dunkin Donuts". I told them they needed customer service training badly. Kiara stated they have been trained, that she's never gotten a complaint on her, & to go ahead & leave now". I, wrongfully, stated, "Fuck you", as I left. Now, I wish I had not lost my cool, but I did. I was absolutely outraged. This could have been handled so differently. This place adds items that you don't order and over charge you for the things you do order. They do this when there is a line of cars all the way around the building. This way you won't sit there and look at your receipt . I'm pretty good with math and if you question it. Their accent gets real heavy while they try to explain why it is right. Next time if the same guy is working the window and does it again. I will have a major issue and will get it right. This was bullshit. read more

this morning me and a couple of friends went to Dunkin. we tried to go inside because we had a lot to order, but when we went to open the doors both sides of the doors were locked and the employees wouldn't let us in. once we got to the window to pay the manager gave us the wrong food we told him but instead of correcting it he made us pay for another order of the correct food. food is decent and drinks are good but the customer service is horrible. read more
