Any and every Barista knows espresso is to be pulled each time, never to sit long, or it separates and becomes weak and bitter. Warning!!! PLEASE READ! Their facility needs to be shut down…read more We were fed MASSIVE AMOUNTS IF PLASTIC. Story: we came to try this place out and it was packed with people. A few families were agitated and we could tell the atmosphere was moody. We placed an order, waited 40 minutes and discovered (by asking) that our order was never placed with the kitchen. We get the order (total wait time was 1hr/55 minutes or so) and head out. My daughter starts to drink her vegetable spinach banana smoothie. She starts complaining that something is scratching and irritating her throat, we respond by saying oh it's fine probably just the spinach. We get home and she's really coughing and gagging. She runs to the toilet and vomits profusely, everywhere. Within seconds we see what happened. She was drinking shredded f'ing plastic. We pulled away the cup and emptied it into our hands over the sink and there it was. Shredded plastic (two kinds!!!!) in the DOZENS. Small and large partials. She ingested half a plastic bag or something. Ran to hospital. This is where we are. This place will hear from us. No questions asked. SHUT THEM DOWN! Health partner SHUT THEM DOWN!

I had a medium to dark roast that was out of this world from Guatemala. The Barista was so helpful in helping me select the perfect blend after I explained what I like in coffee. The icing on the cake or should I say scone was Brittany singing and Gabe playing his acoustic guitar. They were so talented and humble. Just the coffee alone was an amazing treat! I am such a coffee snob and there coffee is by far the best I have had in CT what a wonderful treasure. A great way to spend Sunday Funday!

I prefer it to be made from Single Origin beans, from places like Africa that have bright flavor profiles. And I prefer a medium light roast that highlights the quality of the bean. Most places make their iced coffee from blends and medium dark or dark roast levels. Grounded Coffee Co is the rare CT coffee shop that made my iced coffee with an Ethiopian Single Origin roasted by Ilse. Ilse, a North Canaan, CT, was not on my radar. They are now. This was one of the best iced coffees I've had from a shop all year. And it matched my preferences. Grounded is small, but the shop was cute, had some inside seating, and seemed to have an outside seating area, although I did not go out back to see it. Service was friendly and helpful. Very impressed with this visit experience. Five Stars.

The Bagel was run of the mill ordinary with very little flavor. There are a lot of better bagels on the market. I wish these young people well and my words of advise are not to worry about how much money you make because when you create something people want the profits will shock you.
