Caffeine Haven or Caffeine Heaven?? One in the same I say…read more.. My first cronut experience (not my last), a Hot Toffee Crunch Cold Brew Latte that hits like no other, and a Cranberry Delight Refresher that lives up to its name! This combo made for one happy customer, let me tell you! Caffeine Haven is such a cute spot. You walk in and you can immediately tell you've just stepped into a warm, welcoming environment! They've managed to develop this really lovely and authentic community feel. Plus the decor is just too sweet. A bookshelf in the corner with some children's toys/games, little kiddie tables (too cute), and plenty of seating for the grownups too :) This place is really for everyone! Not only are the staff super friendly, but you know they know what they're doing as soon as you sip one of their brilliantly crafted beverages. The latte was my favorite. My friend ordered for us so I had no clue it was made with almond milk (I'm a whole milk girl.) But you know what, I didn't mind. It was out of this world good! Didn't overdo it with the cinnamon, it was just this perfectly sweetened and spiced warm goodness. As for the Cranberry Refresher, this was absolute perfection. Sweet and just slightly tart. Even as the ice melted, the flavor did not get diluted which is not usually the case with these types of drinks. Finally, the cronut...hello to my new friend. How I've never tried one until now I have no clue, but if they're all as good as Cafe Havens, damn... It was chewy, buttery, with that cinnamon sugar. Yum and yum, the perfect side to the delectable latte! Whether you're picking up or you decide to stay a while, you won't be disappointed! It doesn't hurt that it's only 3minutes away from a new local gem, Dollar Donuts! I highly recommend checking them both out! You won't be disappointed :)

The coffee never is consistent. Sometimes it's good and other times it doesn't take good or the same. The ice was amazing when they first opened, that's something I loved. I feel like my drinks are never that type of cold they were when they opened. The past two times I went in the service just wasn't there. The young girls at the counter were flat out rude. When I asked a question the one blonde young girl talked to me like I was an idiot, when this isn't my first rodeo, especially at this place. Really rubbed me the wrong way. This was my local coffee shop when they opened, but has no longer maintained that title for me.

The hostess has this look of doom on her face every time someone comes in. Table of 3. Doom. Table of 4. Doom. Table for 2 and a car seat. Super DOOM. Can you move us. Doom. She looks like she's looking across the Cheesecake Factory for a table. And I'm looking like is there another restaurant in the back? Nope. Just doom. We were waiting for a table no big deal. I'm not an instant gratification person. I'll wait an hour for a good place. And they tried to accommodate us by sitting us at a bistro table for 2. I'm like no we'll wait and they're like everyone just sat down you're gonna have to wait a long time and my husband was like OK. This is fine so I just went along with that. First thing you need to fix that table it is wobbly flip it over grab a screwdriver and make it not wobbly. Second take those tables unless you were ordered by a fire marshal to only have that size throw them in the garbage and put four regular tables there. Not round. Not itty-bitty. Four tables for four people it would certainly alleviate the face of doom. No one might wonder God why are you going on and on about the tables well for three people three breakfasts I waited for my food for over an hour so I paid attention to every thing that was around me in the itty-bitty teeny tiny restaurant. The bacon was mushy. I don't know if it was raw, but it was mushy. The parts that were cooked to my liking were really good, but I didn't want to eat it because I just kept thinking is this raw? My last little issue is all the little charges on the bill. I don't expect food to be cheap. I don't expect breakfast to be cheap either. I am realistic. I know that when I go out to eat likely I'm spending a minimum of $100. One of the meals we ordered was steak and eggs so I definitely knew we were spending over $100. However. Charging $.20 for cream for coffee is such a stupid business decision. That stuff gets you one star reviews, and makes old people really mad. Work it into the price of the coffee. The girl asked me what kind of toast I wanted, pumpernickel, some sort of grain bread or I can't remember what the third one was. Why are you charging me for toast? It's supposed to come with my food. Was the pumpernickel toast more money? Why didn't you say that? Why do I have to scour the menu for all these little hidden charges? It's stupid you need to fix that. Overall, I think the place is good, but it certainly needs some tweaking the people running around the dining room with the exception of the girl who is our waitress with the braids just looks lost. Some people got an explanation of the menu. Some people didn't some people look like they come there 100 times a month. And I'm sure there's a reason for that. The food wasn't bad but for a first time it was also my last time cause I don't mind spending $100 on food and sitting down to eat, but it needs to be better then just good and it missed the mark. But for the love of god get rid of those stupid small middle tables they're not even big enough for 2 people. I do wish you nothing but success though. Change the tables and retrain doom face and I'll make it 5 stars.

Loved this place! Its in an unassuming location so I am glad we found it when searching for coffee…read moreshops. The drink list is extensive, with something for everyone. I had the Irish Rebellion, and they were able to make it decaf! My wife thought it was too sweet but that's why I loved it. It is a mix of coffee, Irish creme (no alcohol), and whipped cream. I'm told the standard cappuccino was terrific as well. We got the homemade pop tarts, which are a big upgrade over what you cna buy at the grocery store. I would not travel here just for the tarts but i think they are worth trying if you are here anyway. Be warned, they are much bigger! The whole cafe had a strong anti-establishment vibe and a unique character. I highly recommend.

I absolutely adore this place and I actually found a new place to get a haircut next door for a reasonable price so it was a win-win for me. They made me a vanilla latte, served in a real cup, it was excellent. They had homemade pop tarts!! So I ordered the Nutella one of course! Pastry was light and flaky, maybe a needed a little more filling, perhaps they could've heated it up more. The counter dude brought my order out separately. The place is doing great business. I love the decor and will definitely be back. I love mom and Pop small businesses, an antidote to Starbucks. Could be a great place to enjoy something to eat, have a nice cup of coffee, and relax with a book. Seems pet friendly too as a young woman brought a cute Boston terrier in with her.

i went here during highschool. i would pretty much run to get here, since they do close early…read more what a great option for vegans & health-conscious individuals. i'm one of them! go check out their fall menu! my favorite coffee flavor, pretty much ever, is apple spice--this place had it! it was an apple cinnamon spice coffee, and it made me believe in love again. my best friend had a blackberry matcha (very refreshing to see blackberry rather than blueberry). the aesthetic is very homey, cottage-esque, woodsy, earthy, etc. i hope you can understand what picture i'm trying to paint here, because the atmosphere at this place is top-notch! there's a bunch of seating, cozy crannies to sit and study in, private corners, and a very pretty vibe. the tables looks like cute wood stumps, including the chairs. you can also purchase merch, homemade items, and more. my go-to as a kid was a chai latte! i would always grab a gluten-free cupcake--only if they were available. i recommend it, if you are not a coffee drinker. it was phenomenal. the workers are incredibly sweet. i had a whole convo with the person taking my order, haha! they are super friendly, accommodating, and have a lot of patience for all my questions. the only thing is, i'd recommend getting there quite early. it gets packed, but the place is genuinely worth it. when my friends want to go to starbucks, i beg to go here instead. their pastries are yum! if the owner sees this, please keep the spiced apple latte and gluten-free cupcakes! they give me hope in life. it's moderately priced. granted, coffee spots are not super cheap--but, this place is a better deal than most of these highly-rated shops. when i was a teen on a budget, and a young college student like i am now, this place is worth the penny. i'm a big fan of vegan options, gluten-free pastries, and almond milk. i only drink almond milk, and try to only have gluten-free pastries. i don't remember if the alternative milk cost extra, but i hope it didn't. (that's my usual negative about a lot of places; up-charging for alternative milk). they have a ton of savory and sweet options to pick from, so i definitely will be coming here to study for university. overall, do go here! worth the trip! xoxo
