It used to be SO good. I always got great coffee from here and it was always a pleasure to visit. This time - not so much. I wanted to try the iced honey cold press coffee but I was informed they were out of honey. Bummer. So then instead I went with the iced oat vanilla shaken espresso. I was rung up but then told they did not have oat milk, so they offered me coconut milk instead, which as we all know, changes the consistency of the drink. When I was handed the drink it had one of those icee type tops on it and it was filled to the brim, so the coffee was spilling everywhere! Once I cleaned everything up and took a sip of it in the car, it was just not good. It was overly sweet, watery, and not creamy at all. I was so disappointed as it cost me $8.00. I'm so bummed that this location seems to have gone down hill as it was always such a nice coffee stop break.

I don't really do those fancy schmancy coffees at all the kids and the hipsters are into and all the flavored things I just like cream and Splenda LOL. It will give fellow Yelpers something to read while munching on lil ol Wiltzen's Ace in its back pocket, and they may possibly thank me for being the nudge needed to give Wilson Doughnut Shop a chance, or two (or even three like we did) if merely closed for reasons that defy you-the-reader's logic: These donuts are worth the effort. Nothin worth having comes easy, right? Right. Besides, I'm not a Karen. If they're not open when you stop by, it's ok to be sad, just don't give up. Now that we've established the hours and days of operation may not make sense to some - donuts/doughnuts; tomatoes/maters. Interchangeable and of no relevancy. She had regular glazed, chocolate glazed and one with cream filling. ( She got more but that's all that made it home!) We cut all of them into pieces so we could try them all. I was hesitant, but started with the cream filled one. WOW!! I was shocked at how good it was. I could have eaten at least two whole ones.... Next I tried the glazed one. Again I was so surprised at how good it was. Not greasy, dough had a great flavor on its own and glaze was just enough. I only got one bite of the chocolate glazed one because my grandson inhaled the rest. It was his favorite. It was very good as well. It had green sprinkles on it and it would have been excellent even without them. We ate them all so fast I didn't get a picture, but I can guarantee you I will be visiting this shop every time I go to Wilson. They made a doughnut fan out of me!
