    Deliberately sabotaged cup
    Chris T.

Pulled up around 330. No one in the drive thru except the car sitting in front of me waiting to order. Sat there for a good minute, obviously not talking to the speaker, them pulled up. I assumed it was broken but pulled up anyway, waited, said "Hello" waited some more then pulled up too. Waiting for 6 minutes for the two cars in front of me to get just coffee and pull through. Put in my order at the window and they did this to my cup, causing it to spill on me. No way this was unintentional.

This location is brand new, large and spacious. This DD is combined with a Baskin Robbins, but I have only used the DD side. A very nice and badly needed addition to Joppatowne; a place where the community can socialize and meet their neighbors over coffee. Or sit and read the paper or a book. This location has a drive thru and plenty of dedicated parking. Inside is bright and colorful. There is ample seating inside with two 6-seat booths, two 4-seat tables, and 6 stuffed chairs around 2 coffee tables. They have free WiFi, and a lot of power outlets that are configured for USB chargers. So far service has been awesome, even on opening weekend when they were giving away free hot coffee. Normally most conveyor belt food chains get 3 stars, but this location has a lot of pluses. I will be back, and you might even see me sitting down reading my ebook whole enjoying coffee and a donut.

What happened to the rest of my order of hashbrowns?

Worst breakfast in the area! I can't figure out why their breakfast sandwiches are so tasteless. Literally no flavor. I've never had bacon before that tastes like nothing until having it here. The "steak" on the steak and egg sandwich tasted like a very cheap hamburger. Oh and check out my pic of my order of hash browns lol. What happened? Did they eat half before serving me? That's the entire order I was given, and they were cold. Sad, just sad.

Lousy service. No greetings, no smiles at ealy morning they have too much energy to chit chat. Customer first before chit chat next time.

I ordered a chai latte and they gave me a mocha latte. They even wrote chai on the cup. Besides that, the service was good.

Tik Tok made me do it and I'm glad I did it!…read more My co-worker recently had been seeing some videos about the food at Newberry Cafe so of course we had to make a lunch time stop to see what everyone was talking about. Newberry reminds me of your hometown bakery where everyone gathers in the morning for their donuts and coffee before heading off to work. Very much like many of the shops in the Bel Air area. The employees are super nice at Newberry. Really taking their time to provide great customer service to each patron that strolls through the doors. Although it was lunch time we settled on breakfast sandwiches with homefries. And I of course had to grab a donut because it's a must, and a latte. The breakfast sandwich was just what you would want to start your day, a savory piece of meat and cheese on a soft bagel. But the star of the show was the homefries. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, crispy on the outside and a soft texture on the inside. We both loved the potatoes. My glazed donut was divine, pillowy with just the right amount of glaze to not make the donut too sweet. The latte was a little to sweet for me, but I'm a little finicky with the sugar level in many caffeinated drinks. All the times I've ventured into Bel Air I never thought to stop at Newberry and I'm glad I finally did. I'll definitely be back to try more of their yummy donuts and breakfast sandwiches in the future.

On my most recent trip I needed something to hold me over. I was thirsty and a bit hungry. I came in her and noticed that it is limited. Prices are high because you are paying for convenience. It is crowded, not only by customers, but employees that are blocking the aisles without realizing. The space is already hectic because of it just being a stop along the way, but add in unintentionally blockages makes for a bit of a chaotic experience. I just wanted a drink and snack and ended up having to take more time than needed here. Then, the worst part of this space is the registers. There is no identifiable area where a line should form, so multiple lines form, all trying to get to the registers to pay. I was in one such line and then another line formed going a different direction. I had to just go at one point, because everyone that was in the other line thought they had the right away. Annoying, we all got somewhere to go. Then the employees do nothing about it. Remember you are paying for the convenience.

I wasn't too hungry as I had eaten before leaving for Washington DC so I decide to take a quick stop at Sunshine Market. Sunshine Market is located in the back corner of Maryland House and has a nice open feel to it. There is an okay variety of food at Maryland House including a variety of drinks, healthy food and some good snacks. Sunshine Market also had a portion of the store devoted to electronics. Although, they had a lot of items for sale, I wish that Sunshine Market actually had a better variety of just regular snacks like chips or popcorn. I didn't see any reading material for sale at Sunshine Market either, which would have been nice. As I stated earlier, I wasn't too early so I just picked up an orange juice. Although, the orange juice was fresh and GMO Free, I was surprised that it was nearly $6, which I found to be outrageous for just a bottle of juice. Altogether, Sunshine Market is a fine place to pick up a quick snack, but they don't have the best variety and it's very expensive.
