Located in a downtown area, place is pretty big, with a lot of cool seating. Woman working behind the counter was friendly and worked me through their coffee choices. Coffee was delicious, cafe was a great place to sit and relax. I would gladly return!

My friend has been raving about this place for years, so I was excited to finally experience it for myself. I enjoyed a very large iced coffee and a gluten-free bagel with egg and cheese. The staff explained that the gluten free bagel was not made in house and would take a little extra time, which I appreciated. While waiting, I was honestly impressed by how smoothly everything ran. From bagels coming out of the oven to the sandwich assembly line, the team worked like a well oiled machine. Everything we saw looked delicious and what we had definitely lived up to the hype. We even came back before leaving town to bring home goodies because, as my friend says, the bagels just are not the same anywhere else!

There are lots of different types of customers coming in and out, which I think is always a good sign. I thought the bagels were very good, and I have never seen so many different types of spread, including a cookie monster cream cheese. They really slab on any kind of spread, so bring an extra container if you want to siphon off any of the spread for later. (This is what I wish I had done with the whitefish spread!) They're also are a lot of sweet pastries, which looked really appealing. It feels a teeny bit sterile, but I won't fault it for that. I suppose that also means it felt very clean and tidy.

My mom went out to treat us to ice cream after a long day, and it was obvious the staff didn't want to be there, even though it was only around 9:30 and they close at 10. While I get that end-of-day fatigue can happen, it doesn't excuse the poor quality of our orders. I specifically requested extra strawberries, but I only got 3 or 4 small pieces in a "love it" size, which felt careless. My mom's ice cream was incredibly disappointing as well. Stingy with both the ice cream and toppings she asked for. If you're going to work in customer service, there should be a commitment to serving customers well. It shouldn't be that difficult. She left them a tip afterward, but it turned out to be a decision she regretted. Do better.

I wanted everything on the menu I ordered the Popeye--grilled chicken, sautéed spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and mozzarella--and it delivered. I liked it. Everything tasted fresh, well-balanced, and satisfying without feeling too heavy. At $11.99, I feel it's a bit on the expensive side. I also grabbed a side of curly fries ($4.99), which were crispy, it very flavorful, and an ok match for the sandwich. My mother's Sesame bagel with lox and cream cheese was $13.50 . What really stood out on the service side was Alex--he greeted us with a genuine smile and positive energy that made the visit feel welcoming. That said, the rest of the staff didn't quite match that vibe. One employee in particular seemed a bit rushed or bothered, which took away slightly from the overall atmosphere. Absolutely no hospitality vibes. Still, between the food and that one cool customer interaction with Alex, it was a ok. I'd definitely come back because their menu does have a ton of items I would like to try--just hoping for a bit more consistency in the hospitality next time.
