Dunkin' - Medium iced coffee cream and caramel. - Donuts Near Me - Homewood, Illinois

I ordered 4 cones through the drive through (for my family at home) without thinking that I had no place to put them, ha. I asked the gal if she could figure out a way I could transport them - she thought for a minute, and came back having placed them carefully in big cups. Instead of being annoyed, she employed ingenuity and patience. Think her name was Berenice, based on my receipt. Either way, both she and the other woman working there were professional and kind. Will return for sure. read more

I thought my wake up wrap had bacon on it which I did not order, took it back and they opened it up, flopped it around on the bare counter and it was not bacon after all... it was a burnt egg and cheese. They picked it up and threw it back in the bag and handed it to me. 6 months later I gave them another try... ordered 2 chocolate YEAST donuts, I mention yeast twice at the drive thru speaker, she even repeated it back to me. I get my donuts and check, they are CAKE, good thing I checked before I pulled away. We go over the order again, she hands me the bag with the donuts. I leave, get to work and I got two CAKE donuts!!! Really? How can any one be THIS STUPID??? I mean really, come on. Every time you go there there are always new employees, never the same ones. You're lucky if you get one that speaks English. NEVER AGAIN will I go here again. This was the last. read more

Charges $1 for a splash of milk! I've called Dunkin corporate and they said it's up to each franchise to charge or not. Person working literally shrugged at me when I told them this. Survey code on receipt didn't work, and store number for survey didn't work either. Hence yelp review. read more

I am so socked at any bad reviews. We've been going here for a few years now for coffe and dessert. The people are always so friendly and my coffe comes out HOT, which is not the norm these days. The muffins/bagels are always great, even after 6 PM. I have always een pleased here! read more

I went to Dunkin' and ordered a small frozen coffee, and it was terrible. I literally heard the worker ask her coworker if she even put coffee in it -- that explains why it tasted like straight milk. I asked for extra caramel, but there was absolutely no caramel flavor. On top of that, I ordered a bagel and it came out burnt. This is ridiculous. The service was unprofessional, and the girl at the counter had zero enthusiasm taking my order. Dunkin' really needs to stop hiring people who don't care and stick with staff who know what they're doing. read more

The only reason they're getting one star is because there's a really sweet girl there who is always kind and gives me compliments as well as always has a smile one her face. Today I asked for a Iced large Carmel Coffee with cream and liquid sugar, extra ice and cold foam. I got all the way home and realized I had regular sugar. I absolutely hate the feeling of undissolved sugar on my tongue. I drove all the way back and told them what happened. A couple things the staff did really pissed me off. 1.) no apology 2.) they asked for the old drink back and checked it in front of my face to see if I was telling the truth or not. 3.) I didn't get any kind of accommodation for having to drive all the way back (basic customer service) And to top it off when I got home my food was cold that I ordered. Waste of 10 bucks. I'm really disappointed because I've never had an issue with this Dunkin' and I am a devoted Dunkin' drinker. I got at least twice to 3 times a day LOL. read more

The guy working there can remember to be a kind human. Especially when their espresso machine isn't working. Maybe come up with a secondary solution instead of being passive aggressive and unkind and getting agitated. The world is mean enough, the guy at Dunkin doesn't need to be unkind too. We just wanted some type of coffee with caffeine if it's not working. Breathe, it's gonna be ok. read more

-horrible customer service -their store is filthy -there have been literal ants in my drinks & there have been discussions in the local facebook page about others having ants in their drinks. Very nice and professional establishment, staff are very respectful and fast! I enjoy getting my cup of coffee here everyday!

I go to Dunkin several times a day every single day. Ran across this Dunkin' while running errands.. I always order my coffee the same exact way every single day. This establishment charged me extra?!?! I have NEVER been charged extra in all the years! Received my drink and they didn't even give me what they charged me for! Then on top of that they didn't even fill the cup up! Like are you kidding me? I sent it back only to get it back incorrect again! Only this time the employee closed the window. Some advice to the employees is give your customers what you charge them for and stop being cheap! This establishment will be a pass from me in the future. read more

Dunkin' - Receipt - Donuts Near Me - Homewood, Illinois

My last posted review of this place was December 2017. Today is my last one for I will never go here again. My order was for 3 sausage wraps no cheese and a hashbrown. The picture will show you what I got. This is the 5th time my order has been wrong. Not the 1st but the 5th. Almost 9 dollars for three tortilla shells three pieces of egg and a few hashbrowns? I took it back and told them to keep it. I was so disgusted and disappointed I didn't even asked for a refund I just need to leave that place. They can keep the money as a going away gift for I will never go back. For those that do go make sure to check before leaving so you don't have to do the turn around my order is wrong game. I just don't have the patience for this place anymore 5 times, 5 times, 5times. read more

If I ask for Light Ice which means not a whole cup of ice, that's EXACTLY WTF I mean. That's why I repeat it twice to whoever is working there. Put too much ice in my shit again and I'm throwing it in ya fucking face. It's the simply things like that in the details of a persons order that makes the customers WANT come back. Didn't want half a fucking cup of ice, I wanted coffee. read more

Never again! I ordered the 2egg bacon cheese on sourdough bread and a medium coffee in the drive through. The coffee was so hot I could not hold the cup! I asked for a cardboard sleeve for the cup and was told they didn't have one. So I asked if I could have a extra cup to hold this cup and was told "no"! Could I have been offered extra napkins to hold the cup? The answer was no! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They don't have to worry about me coming back there! A little bit of caring for a customer's needs can really go a long way! I did enjoy Dunkin Donuts before coming to this location. I do not recommend this location!!! read more

Too many choices that they frequently run out of items. The sisters than run this one are upbeat and always hopping! The rest of the staff is trying but often a bit slow. Single drive thru is convenient and fast. They're better than most but haven't embraced the Dunkin App. The app drives traffic to Dunkin and the cashiers do not encourage use of frequent dinner program -disappointed. Consistently good coffee and convenient location! read more

What a horrrrrrrible experience. My friend I went in waited for about 7 minutes never being acknowledged . No one was in the store but us. Finally tired of waiting, I said "excuse me" the guy came over and said "what?" I said Id like to order 2 drinks and 3 donuts. He said fine and gave us the total. Sitting in the store and visiting with my friend, I needed to use the bathroom. The men's restroom said out of order. So I asked very politely may I please use the women's restroom due to men's not working and that I'd leave it perfectly clean. The VERY unfriendly guy said "no!" I asked again please that I have to go really bad. He said "no gays cant use our bathrooms and you're not a woman Leave and go somewhere else!" I said "how dare you discriminate against me" he shook his fist at me and said "we don't like gays and you leave now" I was in shock!! Wow 2019 and we have to be treated like that?! I will NEVER go back to this store, and strongly recommend you don't support them. Also side note, We did see him pick up lids and plastic wear up off the dirty floor and use them for unknowingly customers at drive through!!! We couldn't believe that either. He's a jerk! Dunkin' - The rudest guy I've EVER met!!! - Donuts Near Me - Homewood, Illinois

The service here is slow and the coffee is worse. I went inside to order a medium coffee and one donut. The employee behind the counter gave me my donut right after I ordered it, but it took them almost 8 minutes to give me my coffee. The coffee was already made & I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THERE! The guy that took my order asked me if I had been helped after standing there for all that time. The coffee tasted like water - when I told him it tasted like water her said, "I'm drinking mine & it's fine. Really? I will not be returning to this location. read more

Had to grab a pick.me up!!. Tried the oreo coffee..not bad. Quick in and out. This location is always fast and friendly.

So I was there at 6 am one morning about 3 weeks ago. I got coffee and wanted to you the code from doing a survey for the typical free donut. The guy cashier tried to scan the code and stated it had been used. He tried again with no luck. I had NOT used the survey code. Anyway a manager comes over and says I still can't get the free donut. I walked out PO'd and called Corporate that day where they told me it was still a working code. Probably won't go back there again anytime soon. read more

I went to the drive thru and asked for two boxes of assorted Dunkin munchkins. When I got to the window and after I was charged I looked at the content only to see they were all plain. I usually stop in there once a week, about 6-6:15 a.m., and it's a roll of the dice on whether or not the door will be locked. It was locked this morning. Thinking they just forget to open it half the time, I knocked on the door and was greeted by the oh-so-surly manager. "I'm not taking people in the lobby. Only drive through." Is that this morning? Every morning? Your lobby hours clearly state 4:00 a.m. open. I guess I'll never know, as she locked the door behind me and walked away. No problem, Lady. I'm happy to take my business to the mom and pop down the street. Incidentally, you have a foot traffic issue when you have more employee cars parked up next to the door than you do cars in the drive-through. Not again. read more

I would rather drink spit than go to this store. The prices advertised in the store don't match what you are charged at the register. So, please check your receipt. When you call them on the error you are met with attitude and eye rolls. When you bring it to the attention of Dunkin customer care line you are told you will get a call from the store. When you get the call from the store you are not offered a free drink which would be a nice apology. They offer to sell you the item at the price they advertise it at..... anyone else see the problem with this? read more

Don't go to this location, it's run by mindless, rude people. I asked a simple question and the lady looked at me like I was speaking jibberish. Both the Dunkin Donuts in Homewood are garbage. I'll gladly drive miles and miles to go to a store that is run by competent people. read more

My husband came back this morning after going to the Dunkin Donuts, on 183rd St. Homewood. His first words were, please remind me to never go back there again. When I questioned, he said there were two people in there. One talking to a potential employee, the other standing around totally ignoring him. When he finally asked to be waited on, he said he was horrified to find the employee with inch long fingernails, was to be finally helping him. He was "quite" surprised that someone would be working with food with fingernails like that. Enough for us. Sorry, but there are so many other great ones, that we would never, ever go there again, no matter what. And I definitely will tell everyone I know. read more

The worst Dunkin' I've ever been to. Service is terrible. They never gave me a reciept. The electronic total bar is never on. I asked for a donut they say ok. And after a weird blank stare and no action taken I said forget about it" and drove away. I ordered a coffee. We experienced a very rude encounter with the staff at our trip today. After placing our order (and specifying *iced* coffees) one of the employees handed us a hot coffee. We apologized and told them there was a mistake. An employee INSISTED that we had said hot coffee, giving a lot of attitude about the miscommunication. I told her that irregardless we would like them to be iced coffees. Frustrated, she told us that we would have to split the difference. We were responding very civilly, saying it was no problem. We were disgusted at how horribly this employee handled this situation. I'm sure these kinds of things happen all the time and there is no reason for her to act so hostile towards us about this. Very disappointed... read more

I'm not sure why all the bad reviews at this particular DD. I stopped going to the one on halsted before work as well as the one on Dixie and 175th.
