Next time I am definitely having a cup of their sweet blueberry green as I sampled it for the first time today. Sample any tea with the small paper cups. Some snacks including individually-wrapped cookies were for sale. Visit their website for their secret menu. They also have homemade fudge, candy, gourmet candy apples, and chocolate-covered confections. It's a tight fit inside, so there isn't space to eat your frozen treat. Best plan to get it on the run! If I'm not mistaken, this is Hobbs' first chocolatier. They had so many delightful chocolate covered items - from nuts to jalapenos. My daughters were dying to try ice cream and stuck to their flavors. The youngest had two scoops in a cup of Krazy Kolors. Bold colors of red, blue, and yellow, but it tasted like plain vanilla to me. Lol. The oldest had two scoops of Cookie Two Step, which was chocolate chip cookie dough. Very cream. Large chunks of chocolate. The decent-sized cold mounds were served in small plastic ball caps both for $12.14. Then our friend's dad who owned DD sponsored & coached our softball team when I was a kid. Then, after only a two months of my return as a resident to Hobbs in December 2022, Daylight closed their doors. Now under new ownership and in a brand new location in the North Central Plaza near Buffalo Wild Wings, Daylight is back in Hobbs America. If you want more frilly type donuts, you won't find them here. They offer the basic donuts that you can find at just about any ol' donut shop, however, I'm so glad that they taste like they used to when I was a kid. During the pandemic - and maybe it was because they knew they were going to shut down - their donuts started tasting too oily and a bit weird. Not so anymore! These donuts are light and fluffy and every sweet tooth's dream - very much on the sweet side! They just barely officially opened on Friday, June 27 2025, but they have already revised their opening hours and need to update the signage on their door. They are now closed on Sundays. Open the rest of the week from 4:30 AM until noon or are they sell out. Coffee & pigs-in-a-blanket are also available. Drive-thru is available. Welcome back to Hobbs, DD! And because I was super curious about the shop side, I walked out with Brownsboro blueberry green tea by Texas Tea ($2.69) and a small pack of Sahale's pomegranate vanilla flavored cashews ($2.59).
