Her taro drink, however, was a strange color and very watered down. My drink was way better. The Bulldog Sunrise is "Artesia's favorite" and was comprised of "Red Bull with strawberry, coconut, and pineapple flavors & splash of Sunny D. The drive-thru was a bit strange. There wasn't a menu QR code nearby to scan and we weren't given one either. I think there were two drive-thru lines... One young girl took our order, but she wasn't the same who came back out with our order and no change after handing her a $20 so I had to holler at her. That was just awkward. Lol. Cash accepted.

So while waiting for my family to finish shoe shopping, I Yelp/Google searched up coffee/tea places before driving the hour back home. This place seems like a drive-thru only, but there was room for folks to park and sit in a shaded patio area across from the drive-through window. Their part of the building is orange and tucked away from the main road, but there is a really tall sign that leads the way... The lady who served us was dressed up in a cute devil outfit. She was really friendly and fast. I opted for a sweet green tea with peach flavoring. I enjoyed its refreshing taste. Both of my daughters got a medium ocean water. The ocean water was so delicious. I'm totally getting that next time. My pre-teen daughters are very mature so the naked woman in heels on the cups, of course, stood out to them, but they thought it was cool. Not sure how other youngsters would handle that. Lol. All three drinks set me back $10.15. That was cheaper than I anticipated. At least two other locations are in Carlsbad. I'm a fan! She said to bring the chicken and come in for replacement but I told her that we'd already been settled at home. She then said to forget it (about bringing the DRY fried chicken...it looked like it was there from The day before and just sat in the heater bin) and to bring the receipt the following day to get the replacement. I come in. I see there's no fried chicken. Apparently they stop frying chicken at 6pm. Monica (the manager I spoke to last night) told the manager at the deli that she told me to bring in the chicken. You really think I'm going to save that chicken to bring it to prove that it was dry? I wasn't about to go through the dumpster just for that. Goodness gracious. What's $2.09? Guess it means more than keeping a customer. I Did not get an apology at all. Usually one would get an Oh I'm So sorry about that. I want to fix the problem. Bad customer service. I'll go to Kentucky fried chicken. At least I know the fried chicken is fresh. You should teach you kitchen people to put the older product in the back or on top of the new food so the older food gets sold then the newer on the bottom. I should have known better. The other night I was the guy out the newly fried chicken on top of the older chicken that was in the heating bin. Big no no
