Today I stopped by and ordered a large cold brew with extra caramel and extra cream and an add shot and a couple of sandwiches. Nothing crazy, simple order right? While waiting for my drink the manager yelled out across the store saying something about not having cold brew but didn't even finish her sentence before putting her hand up to me and walking away to take a drive thru order. Next thing I hear is her telling the lady making my drink that when there's not cold brew they just use iced coffee and add a shot of espresso "to make it cold brew". Which if you've ever worked at a coffee shop is NOT how cold brew is made. Anyways when I finally receive my drink it's just bitter, has the regular amount of caramel and no cream at all. So I go to ask for cream in my iced coffee with double the amount of espresso I requested which they did not ask if I was okay with otherwise I would have asked for another drink or just a refund on just the drink. I'm honestly really disappointed with this location of Dunkin'. I walked in to pick up my order and was told it would be about a 20-minute wait. That was fine -- I went back to my car and waited the full 20 minutes before coming back inside. When I returned, the two employees who originally helped me told me they hadn't even started my order yet. What made it worse was the attitude. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience -- just "Yeah, we can't make it yet. We're just too busy." After already waiting 20 minutes. I then had to wait another 20 minutes. It wasn't until the manager came in that anything actually happened. I explained that I had already been waiting over 20 minutes, and once she stepped in, my order was made in less than 10 minutes. That shows the issue wasn't time -- it was effort and accountability. Unfortunately, this isn't the first bad experience I've had at this location. Came here for "breakfast" at noon lol. Great commute, not very busy. I had gotten a Boston cream donut, which was in the shape of a star for July 4th. Very cute idea, I love it. I had also gotten a Mint Chocolate Chip Signature Latte, which is a new item on the menu. They perfectly balanced the mint and chocolate, not too sweet, not too minty. It was incredible. While it wasn't very busy at all, just myself, my wife, and another male, the floor did need to sweeped badly, not very catching to the eye, but literally everything else is splendid at this location. My wife standing in line waiting to speak to someone to order more, waiting for 15-ish minutes is crazy. Especially since its not busy at all besides for the drive thru. More people need to be hired or something, because the wait is ridiculous, but very good coffee and breakfast items overall. My coffees and any breakfast foods I order have always tasted great. I used to eat in the dining area but when they built Baskins inside I stopped dining inside because there's no room. I recently moved to the Goodyear area and was excited that there was a Dunkin close to me, considering that the next closest is in Avondale. I've been trying to give this location benefit of the doubt because of COVID and with them being short staffed. However, each visit has been declining in terms of service and quality. They're almost always out of chocolate croissants or hash browns, no matter what day or time I go, which is disappointing. Sometimes I have to ask for something else to substitute the item or else the staff won't give me anything or any reimbursement. But I get it, if you're busy you tend to run out of things quickly. But this is constant. They either are not getting shipments or they're super busy. Either way, it's been very disappointing to say the least. Their quality has also been disappointing as of late. The food is either cold, severely greasy, or OK. But I have yet to get a decent food item. Once again, I'm trying to give benefit of the doubt because of COVID, but why am I paying for food that I'm not going to enjoy? The coffees are very hit or miss and taste different every time. They're either too watered down, too much ice, not enough flavor, no flavor at all, or is made wrong. Most of the time I won't know it's not a good drink until i drive away. Lastly, the drive thru takes forever! The line barely moves! Once again, I try to be patient because they're most likely short staffed. But the other day I came through the drive thru and I waited in total for at least 40 mins! I have never had to wait that long in a Dunkin drive thru. Their drive thru is always backed up and takes forever to get through unless you come very late in the day. I want to blame Covid and the store being understaffed, but this has been ongoing for awhile now. They were completely sold out of munchkins with no plan on more with barely any other donuts available. I grabbed a jelly donut and it was stale. I settled for a medium coffee and a 10 pack of munchkins.. they asked if I wanted any specific ones. I said yes and listed two that I would appreciate be included in the box..
