The staff here were terrific! Very friendly and the waitress did a great job checking in! When it's time to pay, you will walk up and pay at the register. The vibes: This is where they lost a star. We were sat at a booth (yay!) But there was duct tape on the seat. It appears they could use a little upgrading. The decor in here is 90's at best but did have a "homey" feel to it. It was also clean! The food: The portions are generous here! The food options are similar to a Perkins or Bakers Square. I got the Alfredo and added broccoli. It was swimming in sauce, which I loved!! Extra to dip the garlic bread in! Very tasty!! At the end I purchased a brownie to take home to my boyfriend and he said it was REALLT good! Overall, this is worth the stop in my opinion

I asked for extra sauce and even asked when she handed me my order and told me it was there, nope not there. Also, my bread which was there with the first wrong order never came with the corrected remade order even though it's included. Prices have only gone up while the food has gotten worse. It's a bummer as we've been going there forever but it's just going downhill.

I do wish that the main tables weren't spaced so close to each other, but it's not a very large restaurant. The only thing that I would say could be better, is the noise level. This could be based on the overall size of the restaurant and how many tables there are, I'm not positive. The last few times I've been there, it's been so loud, it's like being in a biker bar on karaoke night rather than a nicer restaurant. But overall, I think you'd be happy choosing Mallards in FL for lunch, dinner, drinks, or apps. It's a solid choice.

I get you may have a fee with credit card charges but debit is immediately withdrawn from my account and this seems like a money grab when you need customers to survive. I did not dispute because it's not the servers issue. I already pay a lot to eat out and tip on top of that. It's just not cool. Sadly my 20% usual tip was less because of this fee. You're hurting your own employees. Just a bad look and lots of other choices. Sorry.

These idiots could NOT figure it out and gave me a plain bagel with a slice of cheese. I ordered a French toast sandwich (on their website for the Forest Lake location) and they had ZERO clue what that was. They eventually figured it out. The egg portion has definitely gone downhill. Absolutely ZERO chance there's even a half egg on the sandwiches! I've been a loyal customer for years and will NEVER be back. Horrible. I hope you lose your franchise. Oh, and look at the napkins. Nice folding.
