I haven't had a krispy kreme donut in probably close to 15 years. As I was driving past Erie, I…read moreknew I had to make a stop. I should definitely go to Erie more often. I walked in and there was only a short line but it moves fast. Everyone always loves watching the conveyor belts with the fresh donuts being made. It's such a cool vibe to be able to watch them make each donut from scratch. I got to the front of the line and just ordered a traditional dozen donuts. Then something happened that I NEVER would have expected. The staff member said, "Would you like another dozen for 16 cents?" I was caught so off guard that another dozen was only SIXTEEN CENTS, that I made him repeat it just to make sure I heard him right. I was absolutely floored but I knew I would be dumb to say no to this deal. Long story short, I left with 24 donuts and had no idea how I would eat them all. Luckily, I was heading home to a full house of visitors and family who would help. I know they're just donuts but they feel like a special treat and they are so delicious. Like I said, I need to come back to Erie more often.

This time we even got free samples try some straight out the grease!! Do I think these are the best donuts ever, nope. But they are good, and I always grab when passing through.

Wow! What a terrible experience I had at this location today! I used the drive thru to order drinks…read morefor my family and myself. I ordered a large Diet Coke, but soon after I left I took a sip and realized it was regular Coke - full sugar. I'm diabetic, so I returned and went inside to swap out the drink (the drive thru line was long now). After a minute I explained to the young lady that I got the wrong drink, and could she please replace it for me. Immediately she got snippy with me and said "get that off of the counter, you have to throw it in the trash". I asked if she could take care of that for me, to she replied "I'm not touching that - it has your germs all over it". It was then I noticed that she was wearing a covid mask (this is July, 2024) and I thought why would anyone throw a 32 oz. drink in the trash? What if the bag leaked? I asked to please get my drink, which she did, then said again "throw that in the trash, you touched it and your germs are all over it"! I replied "you handed it to me, so your germs are all over it, too". Then a young man came over and said "what's your problem"? I explained that I wanted a Diet Coke to which he replied "we didn't ring it up like that"! I asked whose fault that was? They didn't give me a new straw, so I took my old one out and out it in my drink and said "Thank you, have a good evening". The young man replied "You don't have a good evening." I walked to the door and could hear them both mumbling so I turned around to hear what they had to say. I couldn't make all of it out but did hear "asshole" and something about germs again. They finally saw me still standing there and went silent. I was at this location on July 7th, 2024 between 3:30 and 3:45 in the afternoon. The young lady was short and very thin, with a mask on and the young man was about 5'-10" with dark hair, both were approximately high school age. My thought is that if you're a germaphobe you probably shouldn't work in a public place. Secondly, I'm a husband and father, a contractor and vocational instructor and I'll be damned if I'm going to be disrespected like these two did today. I've been a customer of Brian and Jen's franchises in Erie ever since they move here from Canada and I know they would be shocked to hear of this at one of their restaurants. They will hear about this the next time I see them. Now, what do you intend to do about this? UPDATE: 6/16/24 - I contacted Tim Horton's and asked for someone to contact me regarding this, both online and via phone call - no one has returned my call. I guess they just don't care!
