So when I drove up from SC to visit I had to see what all the fuss was about. Sadly, I took more videos than photos as umm be posting them to my author and book pages (@shewriteswithknives). So if you're wanting an interior look by me you'll have to check there at a later date. Now let's get into it. Pressed is cute. Very cute! This bookstore had a particular charm that made me want to look everywhere at once without being overloaded. I was excited to see they had less mainstream books, thus making their selection a bit wider. I somehow managed to only buy one book and paired it with a lavender matcha iced latte. On top of their book selection they have several cute stickers, hats, candles and assorted bookish knickknacks to enhance your reading experience. I'm very glad I was able to drop by.

I'm a sucker for their mocha. It's so rich and delicious without being heavy or overly sweet. They also have some baked goods & some of the best ice cream sandwiches I've ever had. Recently, Ember & Forge installed a free food pantry outside, another reflection of their deep commitment to our community. It's easy to feel good supporting a business like that.

Nice place, and I commented to our server that "I wish I could make coffee this good at home." She smiled and pointed out North Edge across the street - she said that was where they get their coffee from (Indonesian Bali Blue Moon). So we wandered over after breakfast and enjoyed talking with the staff there while getting educated a little on coffee roasting and brewing. We walked out smiling with a few bags of coffee and a handful of accessories, including one of their mugs. All-in-all, a great place to visit if you're a coffee lover!
