Love the healthier options here. Definitely not one of the usual places around town. Great atmosphere, kind staff.

The juice is amazing I had the blueberry Thrill and it was delicious, they also had carrot cake muffins that are worth a try, you must get her and try it out you won't be disappointed. read more

I moved to Erie two weeks ago and just discovered the Juice Jar. I was greeted by Holly, the owner, and was immediately taken with her warmth and welcoming nature. I ordered the avocado toast -DELICIOUS!!! The shop is beautifully appointed. I am already looking forward to my next visit and plan to make the Juice Jar one of my regular stops. read more

The Juice Jar - Roasted veggie grilled cheese with smoked provolone and garlic aioli with curried cauliflower soup. Delicious!! - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Erie, Pennsylvania

I really love the juice jar! The owner and all of the workers are so nice and friendly. I LOVE the decor in the area, there are tables to sit outside as well when the weather is nice. I really like their juices, I think the Salaminjaro is my favorite, but it's hard to pick just one! My guy loves their chocolate smoothies (he does mix in extra sugar, but he has a sweet tooth. I think they taste great as is!) I get avocado toast regularly, and it is always so good and fresh, I believe they get the bread locally, too! There's also a little section in the store where they sell some other products from small businesses, like oils, granola, chocolates, etc, and I love that so much! It's great to see small businesses in Erie supporting each other! read more

These smoothies are bomb! Not a huge smoothie person, but the creamsicle was absolutely delicious. Cute little place too.

The beverages and ambiance are always lovely. I'm usually greeted by whom I believe the be the owner and it's always a pleasant engagement. Highly recommend them! read more

The peanut butter smoothie was liquid not a smoothie. The juice was basically water and cayenne pepper. I make smoothies and have a cold press juicer and they are better quality than this place. Great idea, bad execution. read more

So proud of Erie for starting a healthy local business! My go to place when I'm home. I've tried just about everything on the menu and it's all so good. I highly recommend the pb&j smoothie bowl, a chlorophyll juice, and the black bean brownie. The beautiful part about this place is that they offer easy substitution for ingredients! Love the vibe and the clean ingredients. read more

Ever noticed that healthy people are always the nicest? And most patient? I like to get in some good pressed juices before I get my morning Joe. Which makes this the perfect location because me thinks Brew Ha Ha is the best coffee in Erie. (I'm just visiting for the week and have gone to quite a few coffee shops being the perpetual coffee snob that I am). I tried both the raspberry zucchini muffin and the carrot cake muffin and it's a toss up. My juice, though was perfect. It was called Salamanjaro. She made it stronger in the ginger side for us and, she even remembered our names. That's what I'm talking about! read more

Spoiler alert: my mom owns this business. But, I want to state that although I sort of detest vegan food and vegan things, I love everything on the menu here. Their baked goods and lunch plates do not lack any flavor. I thought I'd feel dissatisfied with the lack of meat and dairy, but I crave the salads and bowls now. The dressings and vegetables are always flavorful and can even be spicy (if that's your thing)! I can definitely attest to the freshness and quality of all the food and juices, since I've worked in the kitchen. Favorites: southwest salad with jalapeño dressing (not spicy), Polar Bear smoothie with spinach and chia seeds, and the chocolate chip cookie bars. Bomb. read more

Came across this place during my 3-day stay in Erie for an interview (my third visit to Erie, bit of back-story I'm from California where there is plentiful amounts of organic/healthy/vegan options). This local juice bar surprised me by its solid options for those who are looking for healthy alternatives that do not compromise taste and quality. Highly recommend the soup-of-the-day. The wrap was a great choice and my questions were easily answered by the kind lady at the front. I highly recommend for anyone tired of franchise chain restaurants and heavy, oily, or fried foods. This will be my go-to healthy option if I do well on my interview read more

The best and maybe the only (but it's truly yummy) place in Erie PA to get nutrient dense vegan food. Highly recommend!

Visited the JJ while on a short weekend trip to Erie. Coming from Northern California I feel spoiled with the amount of healthy deli coffee/juice/sandwich options are close to home. JJ was incredible and ranked as one of the best in the category. The smoothies aren't packed with sugar but have more conscious ingredients including plant protein powder. The wraps and desserts were tasty and also listed every ingredient, which I always appreciate. The location itself is super cute and sells some boutique local vendors goods, and has a great little outdoor patio in the front. read more

I travel for work and it's difficult to always find healthy places and things to eat. I'm so thankful when I come across gems like this place. I made my first ever stop at The Juice Bar yesterday morning while in need of a quick morning refreshment. I found this place thanks to Yelp and very much enjoyed my experience. The place had a decent number of people there when I showed up and the place was very cozy on the inside. I ordered a peanut butter/chocolate smoothie and a black bean brownie with pecans (because I just couldn't help myself). The staff was super friendly and although the smoothies here certainly aren't cheap, they are comparable to smoothie shops in cities like New York and Toronto. The brownie was fantastic and for $3 it's definitely worth the price. The smoothie tasted pretty standard for what it was but that's a taste I very much enjoy. If you are in Erie and looking for a healthy and nutritional place to get a breakfast smoothie, this is absolutely the place to go. I will definitely be returning the next time I work in Erie! read more

Stop in sit outside in front of the store with tables made out of doors. Then you can see the hustle of life in the plaza on the West 8th street traffic. 1st time coming here today and this is a gluten free vegan paleo or any one looking for something fresh and cleans dream. We stopped in for the Sunday brunch and their banana and walnut waffles with coconut whipped cream was hands down the best food I've eaten in Erie so far. Served with absolutely amazing sweet potato home fries local maple syrup and a bowl of fruit I was far too stuffed to eat this lunch is hands down Instagram worthy. Their outdoor eating area is adorable for the summer and their indoor area is adorable enough to make the winters seem bright and sunny. We also tried two of their juices sugar rush and orange glow which were so delicious. I'm doing another review because this place is simply that good! Not only are their brunches, juices, smoothies, açaí bowls and delicious treats so good they also have amazing lunch specials from 11-2 for only $8. Today was my first time trying out their lunch and I was thoroughly impressed with it! My lunch today was a sausage potato and kale soup with a Mediterranean zucchini noodle salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was both filling and delicious and gluten free. Went to the juice jar today and got a açaí smoothie bowl. If you've ever had acai it's usually a thick smoothie with fruit in a bowl. I'd have to say this was the worst açaí bowl I've ever had. 1. It had no taste what so ever 2. It was so runny they should've provided me with a straw Overall, I was very dissatisfied with their "açaí" it was not worth $9 at all. I won't be returning to the juice jar. read more

The Juice Jar is easily one of the most quintessential juiceries in the tri-state area and I would argue, on the east coast itself. I was born and raised in Erie, PA and spend my summers and holidays there when not at school. The options are easily the most unique and personal of any juice I have been too. The metabolic mojito is transcendent and the sampler is innovative too. They have seasonal specials using local fruits and vegetables. The owner truly cares because this is her lifestyle. I have been there before when she had a delivery of rainier cherries from a farmer she is friends with and she shared one with me. How kind? The atmosphere is also great. Wifi. Comfortable seating. High tops. Intriguing pictures. Its a slightly whimsical, beachy, and even industrial space. read more

I've been to the Juice Jar several times and am just not thrilled. I find the prices exorbitant and the food okay. We were there for lunch the other day and had two small drinks along with soup and bread. The cost was close to $30. The food was mediocre and the smoothies good but not worth the price. I probably will not go back. read more

I've visited several times and really enjoy the smoothies and açaí bowls, especially in the summer when I want a cold treat. It's a great place to hang out with such a calming atmosphere. Everything on the menu sounds fantastic and perfect for people with special dietary needs. I like that there are games and magazines available on tables to keep me busy while I wait for my order. It may seem a little pricey, but in my experience it's definitely worth it! read more

My sister and I had just settled in to their outdoor seating area that is shared with the neighboring coffee shop, Brew HaHa when the owner came out to rudely ask us to leave before buying a drink. She said we were taking up space just sitting there because she only has a few tables. I clearly understand that you must buy something to sit at the tables, but she gave us little to no chance to do so and chased us off before we had the time. All of her tables were empty at the time anyway, so clearly she needs to change her attitude before attracting more business. I never had a chance to try anything from their menu, sadly. Never will. read more
