I really love the juice jar! The owner and all of the workers are so nice and friendly. I LOVE the decor in the area, there are tables to sit outside as well when the weather is nice. I really like their juices, I think the Salaminjaro is my favorite, but it's hard to pick just one! My guy loves their chocolate smoothies (he does mix in extra sugar, but he has a sweet tooth. I think they taste great as is!) I get avocado toast regularly, and it is always so good and fresh, I believe they get the bread locally, too! There's also a little section in the store where they sell some other products from small businesses, like oils, granola, chocolates, etc, and I love that so much! Which makes this the perfect location because me thinks Brew Ha Ha is the best coffee in Erie. (I'm just visiting for the week and have gone to quite a few coffee shops being the perpetual coffee snob that I am). Visited the JJ while on a short weekend trip to Erie. Coming from Northern California I feel spoiled with the amount of healthy deli coffee/juice/sandwich options are close to home. JJ was incredible and ranked as one of the best in the category. The smoothies aren't packed with sugar but have more conscious ingredients including plant protein powder. The wraps and desserts were tasty and also listed every ingredient, which I always appreciate. I made my first ever stop at The Juice Bar yesterday morning while in need of a quick morning refreshment. I found this place thanks to Yelp and very much enjoyed my experience. The place had a decent number of people there when I showed up and the place was very cozy on the inside. I ordered a peanut butter/chocolate smoothie and a black bean brownie with pecans (because I just couldn't help myself). The staff was super friendly and although the smoothies here certainly aren't cheap, they are comparable to smoothie shops in cities like New York and Toronto. The brownie was fantastic and for $3 it's definitely worth the price. The smoothie tasted pretty standard for what it was but that's a taste I very much enjoy. If you are in Erie and looking for a healthy and nutritional place to get a breakfast smoothie, this is absolutely the place to go. 1st time coming here today and this is a gluten free vegan paleo or any one looking for something fresh and cleans dream. We stopped in for the Sunday brunch and their banana and walnut waffles with coconut whipped cream was hands down the best food I've eaten in Erie so far. Served with absolutely amazing sweet potato home fries local maple syrup and a bowl of fruit I was far too stuffed to eat this lunch is hands down Instagram worthy. Their outdoor eating area is adorable for the summer and their indoor area is adorable enough to make the winters seem bright and sunny.
