My husband purchased a red velvet brownie which must have been amazing because he wasn't willing to share, only commenting that it was soft,chewy and delicious. When he wasn't looking, I stole a pumpkin cookie out of the bag and packed the moist, cake-like cookie into my mouth like a squirrel. The frosting on top is what made it for me, not too sweet or gritty - I really like soft cookies and (if this place wasn't an hour away) would gladly come back for more. They also offered a variety of cake pop flavors, stunning special occasion cakes & cute little pies. The prices are a little higher than what I'm used to back home but not unreasonable either. Um, yes! Loved that accommodation. I grabbed an iced decaf for good measure, and hopped back in the car. The bread was still warm! That night, when we made it to our destination, we sliced up our bread and had it with pasta. It was pretty dense for sourdough - and we opted to warm the bread to take advantage of the parmesan slivers tucked into the bread. That definitely improved the flavor. The bread was ok, but the spirit with which it was given was so appreciated that *that* made it taste even better. We'll definitely be back.
