Whoa--my son and I dropped into the lobby, since we were on a rain delay for a baseball tournament. There was a young girl counting money in the front of the store. We were never greeted by her on any other employee. After 7 mins. I finally asked "do we give our order to you?" And she replied, I'm sorry, I'm just counting money...and that was it. She then moved to another counter. Ok...after a few more minutes of waiting an employee came up to help us and apologized for the wait--and the girl counting money gave her the side-eye. She prepared our order but could not open the drawer to take money--because...the girl was still counting money! (Wow). And...they did not have any Midnight brewed and was offered a "shot" in a regular coffee--it was "not good." I was really hoping that customer service would survive the automated wave but...now I'm not so sure. read more

I've given this Dunkin multiple chances, but unfortunately, almost every visit ends up being disappointing. The drinks are inconsistent at best and often just don't taste right. Whether it's the coffee, refreshers, or specialty drinks, it feels like you never know what you're going to get. The service is just as inconsistent. Some employees are friendly, helpful, and do a great job, while others seem uninterested or make the experience frustrating. There doesn't seem to be any consistency from one visit to the next. I keep hoping things will improve, but after several disappointing experiences, it's hard to justify coming back. This location really needs to focus on consistency, both in the quality of the drinks and the customer service. I've wasted so much money here. read more

I was in desperate need for a hot cup of coffee. Yes, I said desperate...lol... I'm a bit addicted to coffee. Oh, bless these poor folks hearts. They were fairly empty, except for the drive through and some pick up orders. My son ordered a frozen coffee something or another and I ordered a simple black coffee. There were three staff members at the counter. Two of the three seemed to be crew members and one appeared to think she was the Queen so im guessing she was a lead or perhaps maybe a manager. Ms Queen was bossing and nasty to her staff. Ironically the young lady she was mean to was the only one of the three that was actually working. That poor girl looked stressed out. The other two stood and watched while the one worker took my order, and tried desperately to get mine and the pickups out the door. As far as her service it was 5 stars. Coffee & donuts kinda day , they have a self ordering kiosk as soon as you walk in. Ordering on the kiosk and just sat & chilled for my matcha latte that was so good & just want I needed. I was able to adjust if I wanted it sweet & what type of milk I wanted. I got a couple of the stuffed everything bagel bites & those were so Good!!! Just enough cream cheese fillin, I would love for them to be lil bit more toasted for a nice crunchy but hit the spot. The location is convenient but a pain in one entrance when drive thru gets backed up, it hard to turn in. We just had to turn around & go in the other entrance. read more

I live nearby, so I decided to take a walk to this location. Upon arrival, I walk up to the counter and at not time was I greeted by the several members of staff were just standing around. They actually walked away from the counter. Two posed as if they were cleaning, but never said a word. I finally asked was everyone going to clean or is someone going to take my order. The only young lady that was working was asked to stop what she was doing and take my order. Once she took my order, the rest of the staff came back to the counter to make the order. My first and last time going here. I'm not a fan of DD, but figured I'd give this one a try. It was that day I was reminded as to why Starbucks is always the better choice...customer service, quality, and presentation. A little advice: do better, train your staff on customer service, and how to treat all customers fairly! read more

Doughnuts are usually stale. It shouldn't matter if you go in the late afternoon. If they are open, they should have fresh doughnuts.

Everything about this place could be improved. The donuts were stale. They had no cream in the middle like they were supposed to. The service was awful. Two kids on their cell phones behind the counter could've cared less very bad customer service. We will never go back there. read more

Arrived at the drive thru to order loaded hash browns at 7:07pm and was told they are not serving any hot food the rest of the night and only drinks. I asked if they closed at 8pm and the girl rudely and snidely said, "no we actually close at 9, but there are only 2 of us here tonight and to make it easier on us, we closed it down. So is there anything else I can do for you?" This is my second issue from this store. Just 2 weeks prior I had an issue from the rude pregnant lady who doesn't need to be working with the public. I came by this morning and ordered a medium iced caramel macchiato and some assorted munchkins. While I was at the speaker, a young girl answered and I told her I needed a minute. While I was looking at the menu, the girl said I had "chubby cheeks" and clearly didn't realize her headset was still on when she said that. She turned the headset back off until I was ready and then took my order. I REALLY should have told her I heard her and complained but I let it go. The doughnuts were disgusting. Dry, cold, and just tasted bad. The coffee was almost flavorless as well. Not only was the staff incredibly obnoxious and rude, but the food wasn't even good enough to make up for it. I will not come back to this location. This is only my second time getting anything from a Dunkin Donuts and I probably won't go back to any Dunkin again. read more

This wasn't my first time having a bad experience at this location. All the other times they messed up my order I just brushed it off since they just opened. I get that the drive thru gets super busy. I used to work at Starbucks so I can relate. However, i placed an online order for 5 things and 3 of the items i ordered were out of stock. No problem but when I wanted a refund the worker in the drive thru gave me an attitude and she told me i had to do it on my end. The app wouldn't let me because I had already placed my order 15 minutes ago. I ended up leaving and not getting my refund. This location needs to train their staff better on their customer service. Great service, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was so energetic, I loved the music- It was lively and family friendly.

I came to dunking twice in the row both times lobby was locked but I understand because it was raining I drive into the drive thru and on the intercom's all I hear with my kids in the car is Booty hole brown which I did not understand why they were saying that. I really don't understand how the head store manger didn't hear them & didn't say anything to the employees. I have loved going to Dunkin all my life. I was genuinely so excited about getting a Dunkin in Elizabethtown. I'm not the type of person to leave reviews, but I feel like this is necessary. The first few times were great! But this month I've had nothing but bad experiences, and I hate to say it. Every time I've gone they are either out of something, or my coffee tastes a bit odd, but I always like to give everything a second chance. I was informed that one day they ran out of coffee the night before so they were giving out decaf coffee and not informing the guest. Today was my 15th reason, I pulled up to the drive thru (realizing I was the only one) I noticed that there wasn't a singe guest inside, I had to wait a good 4 minutes to be attended. While I was ordering..I noticed two workers run outside, then while they run back inside they are laughing loudly (which I didn't mind at all) but when I noticed it was the same boy that handed me my food... it was a red flag, it left me wondering if there was even a manager there.. I feel like the manager that is in charge of hiring should do a better job on hiring people that will take the job seriously, and put their effort in giving the guest a good service at least. read more

I have been to the newly opened Etown location with my wife 5 times for coffee and donuts since opening and have actually only have had 1 good coffee worth drinking from there .I know they are still working the kinks out being new so I have over looked this issue till today. Today my wife and I stopped in thru drive thru and when we got to the window to pay we smelled the most disgusting smell you could ever smell besides death(sewage) and we seen a man behind the business over looking the pumping of there septic? That's where the smell was coming from. This should have been done on closed hours/after hours or anytime besides open hours. Now when I think of Dunkin' Donuts, sewage comes to mind! The coffee they tried to give us looked like nothing I've ever had there and refused it and asked for remake on both. They asked us to pull forward to wait for our order and we refused because the last time my wife was there ,they asked to do so and she did pull forward and when tasting her coffee before pulling off ,the coffee was un- drinkable ! The line behind her and in the ordering line was backed up so she came on home and tried calling this location and could not get thru to anyone . So no we are not pulling forward, the manager apologized telling us they have people in training so we understand , however getting on Dixie and trying our coffee guess what? One coffee was drinkable the other was weak and watered down tasting.Even the color was off. My wife took both coffee's and mixed them together to make them somewhat better(drinkable) when we got home not being a total loss.I'm not wanting anything from this location because of one of the owners we have met in Louisville is a super nice/good business owner/operator and am only posting this negative post is for him to get this store straight before its to late. We and people we know where looking forward for this location to open and do not want to see it fail but at the rate there going ? we stopped at the new Dublin donuts outside of Etown today and couldn't have been more disappointed.... no Boston crème donuts so we got 3 long John's they were not fresh, stale and hard and absolutly not a drop of crème filling in any of them!!! for a brand new business that just opened this was totally unacceptable... we will not ever go back and the 2 kids working were totally not interested in customer service.. both on cell phones and had to ask to wait on us!!!!! where's this manager!????? read more
