There is a ton is space and a ton of seating dotted around the raw wood and metal interior and it feels very inviting to sit and spend time, enjoy pastries with friends, or even sit and get some work done, as it is not loud, but a very nice version of quiet. Never getting too loud even when the crowd picks up a bit or lots of orders are popping. The coffee was delicious. Made perfectly and just how it should be. Espresso drinks too the list for me, but there were so many different choices, and they all looked outstanding. However, where The Farmhouse really shines is in the crazy good pastries. They are so light and fluffy, so perfectly flavorful. The fruit tart was possibly one of the best baked goods I've had in many years. The effort that is put into producing their treats is definitely felt, and I am not sure if they make everything in house, but it certainly feels like it. There are many places that have great pastries, but not many get the European-style light and airy style just right with a bazillion layers. This place is at the pinnacle of that baking game. If you are in the area in the first half of the day, you value a good pasty, good coffee, nice people and a nice space, you should definitely make you're way to the Farmhouse. If you are nearby it's definitely worth a trip and if I lived closer, I could easily see this being my daily go-to. They will send you "Congrats on your polar pizza! Weird business model, right? That's not all... then they'll tell u they can't refund you at the store - you'll have to contact the webpage. When you do, some unhelpful "guest services ambassador" - named Karen M. in my case, you cannot make that up- will tell you that you've already BEEN refunded. When you tell her that you were NOT, she'll make you an appointment to RETURN to the store to meet WITH the Branch Manager to review CAMERAS to be sure you weren't refunded. And when you DO take her up on that offer - and drive over there AGAIN, he doesn't show up to speak with you. Some Dunkin manager/employee - will be asked to refund you FINALLY the meager 26$ that they NEVER should have charged you for the item they could never make. And when you ask if they are going to fix the website so this doesn't happen again- he tells you he has no control over that and sends you on your way, apologizing only that you had to come back for the refund. So, when you write to Karen to see if you can find out why Baskin is still allowing people to fraudulently order and pay for desserts they won't/don't make- she tells you she'll let the branch manager know. The same one who was too chicken to face me at the store? So, buyer beware.
