It's a bit out of the way for me, but when I need to be in this area for work I'll be sure to stop, and so should you!

Working from home, I got tired of looking at my four walls. Found this cafe on Yelp Collections and thought it looked like a good change of scenery. The portion was surprisingly large, so I ended up eating half and taking the rest home. I also tried the beef plantain empanada, and honestly, you can't go wrong with that combination. The sweet plantain paired perfectly with the savory beef, creating the ideal balance of sweet and salty flavors. My boyfriend ordered the cheese arepa. It was good, but nothing out of this world compared to everything else we tried. For drinks, I had their cold brew made with 100% Colombian coffee. It was incredibly refreshing, and adding two pumps of pistachio syrup took it to another level. My boyfriend ordered the caramel frappe and really enjoyed it as well. One thing I loved was the atmosphere. The decor has a very Colombian feel, which gives the space a lot of character. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to study, work, or just hang out for a while. Overall, great food, great coffee, and a welcoming environment.
