I wish the texture was pillowy and the flavor of the donut itself higher quality (since these donuts are marketed as specialty/gourmet). They shine based on what fancy flavor is put on top. The Boston cream one was everyone's favorite. The cider donut was a great cake donut. The Homer was also a cake donut. I prefer a cake donut over yeast. But, the glaze was great. There's one particular staff member who stands out for all the wrong reasons--she's consistently rude, unapproachable, and never greets or acknowledges customers. While not all employees are like this, her behavior leaves a very negative impression. When you walk into the store, it often feels like you're invisible. Basic customer service--like a simple greeting or acknowledgment--is lacking. If someone is unhappy in their role, it might be time to consider a different environment. Customers deserve to feel welcomed and respected.

I received four coffees, each with double cream, not decaf, and one marked hazelnut but no apparent hazelnut. After this I'll go next door to Stewart's. Same order cost $2 less. I'm certain they will get better. The donuts looked good, though I didn't buy one because I don't want to taste it all day.
