the reflection of a man in a window

Literally 1 star, I was leaving Publix and had a craving for a doughnut. Not really realizing what time it was I pulled up at 8:50. No one says a word on the speaker so I pull up to the window to see these two individuals counting the till. Now this review is not for them closing early. I get it, it's for the fact that they looked me dead in my eyes and continued to do what they were doing. No one said hey we are closed for the night. No acknowledgment what's so ever. I work in the service industry. I know how it is, but at least have respect enough for your clientele to say something. As I writing this review I'm watching them ignore another customer at the front door. At least have the decency to speak

I go to this dunkin location every morning sometimes twice a day...they always get my order right and the coffee is always fresh

One employee had his mask down under his chin. He was rubbing his eyes and face before grabbing my donut which he forgot to put powdered sugar on. I ordered an iced matcha latte and received a blended beverage instead. The rest of the staff was kind, quick, and had a smile on their face and kept their mask on.

Accessible place with plenty of parking. Visited at 730 pm on a weekday and they already ran out of some of the choices (like bavarian filled munchins) Donuts we bought were of good quality. No issues with the food Co-located with baskin robbins

Not cool BR. When I order hot fudge on my sundae I expect it to be hot. It was not at all hot and looked like worms squirted on my sundae! I tasted nasty as well. Bye bye BR!

Second trip through after asking them to look at the quality of the product. Love the service, love the coffee, fix the food.

I came in to let him know I ordered an egg sandwich at the drive thru and was given just a bagel with cream cheese.

Everyone is always friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond to square you away. Veri Best is one of a few Columbus institutions that you must stop at if you have the chance.

If you're looking for a classic, old-fashioned donut shop that serves fresh, hot donuts the way they should be, Veri Best Donuts is absolutely worth a stop. I ordered a glazed donut and a cinnamon twist, and both were fantastic. In fact, my donuts were so fresh and hot that the staff put them in a large box instead of a bag because they didn't want them melting through the paper. That level of care was appreciated. When I took my first bite of the glazed donut, it was still warm. For a split second, I thought I had bitten into a pocket of grease. Then I realized it was warm glaze that had melted inside the donut. It was light, delicate, and absolutely delicious. The donut itself was a traditional yeast donut--the kind that reminds you why donut shops became famous in the first place. The shop has a retro, hole-in-the-wall feel right on Broadway, and the display case is packed with options ranging from classic glazed donuts to filled, frosted, cake donuts, twists, and specialty items. Prices are very affordable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Later that evening, I ate the cinnamon twist without reheating it. After sitting in the box for hours, it was still soft, fresh, and delicious. Now, where I'm from, we have our own local donut shop with a cult following, so am I ready to declare Veri Best Donuts the greatest donut shop I've ever visited? No. But does it deserve a cult following of its own? Absolutely. If you're passing through the area, do yourself a favor and stop in. Fresh donuts, friendly service, affordable prices, and a taste of old-school donut-making done right. But make sure you arrive early!
