Dunkin' - it's a small but still worth it thank you Dunkin' Midnight - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Chicago Heights, Illinois

Worst Dunkin' Ever! This is hands down one of the worst Dunkin' locations I've ever visited! The inconsistency in how the drinks are made is ridiculous, and the attitudes from most of the staff make the experience even worse. The only reason I continued visiting this location at Chicago Road and Sauk Trail was because it's conveniently located near my job. One particular experience was the final straw. I ordered an iced coffee and noticed the outdoor ordering screen listed whipped cream as $0.00, which naturally led me to believe there was no additional charge. When I got to the window, I noticed an extra $1 charge and politely asked what it was for. The employee told me it was for whipped cream. I explained that the screen clearly displayed $0.00 and suggested they update it to avoid misleading customers. She asked if I still wanted the whipped cream, and I told her no, not for an additional dollar. She then instructed another employee to remove the whipped cream from my drink, which had already been made! So instead of honoring the price advertised on THEIR screen, they removed the whipped cream and handed me the coffee. At that point, what was the purpose? If the whipped cream was just going to be discarded, why not simply honor what was advertised? It's not even about the dollar; it's about the principle and the lack of customer service. That experience was just one example of the poor service I've encountered at this location. Between the inconsistent drinks, unpleasant attitudes, and lack of accountability, I've had enough. I haven't returned since that day, and I have no intentions of doing so. There are plenty of other Dunkin' locations that appreciate their customers and provide better service. Convenience will only get you so far when the customer experience is consistently disappointing. I'll gladly spend my money elsewhere! read more

A very nasty location with very nasty and rude employees. Upon entering, there were no greetings, which I'm not bothered by. A sales representative at the counter with a bull ring on her nose gave nasty looks, acted as if taking an order was not for her to do, and was just all around disgraceful. One, it's disgusting to serve in this industry with things floating from the nose, which can fall into food items. Two, the way the food items purchased were handled occurred in a nasty way. No gloves when grabbing the items after using the PC device and those long nails were unsanitary. There were several other young females in the establishment who just stood around on their phones when others needed assistance. Not a good look. I understand that the food industry isn't a happy industry, but hiring happy individuals would be a step up to making the establishment happier and brighter. The energy was so dull, dead, and very uninviting. The health inspectors need to come and policies need to be put in place. Giselle, do better dear. read more

I've given this place several chances, but this was my last straw. I ordered the shaken espresso and this is not the first time they've filled it up only halfway. I didn't take a sip out of it and once the fizz went away after getting down the block this is the level my coffee was at. Wont be going back again i've wasted too much money on halfway filled coffees. read more

They can be hot or miss and I understand hiring is an issue so, I am giving the 4 stars this reason. Nice staff and they typically get your order correct but, I prefer going into the lobby versus drive up. As you can imagine mornings can be a hassle so using the app is a plus. Also, by using the app you collect points for free cups of coffee. read more

Zero stars. Horrible young staff. They saw us and completely ignored us, super rude. When ordering she was barely speaking to us and didn't even call out our orders, just left them there. read more

Well, there's no place like home when it comes to Dunkin'. Jacksonville has spoiled me rotten. This location has friendly staff and a clean business but the constituency of the products and the attention to detail could use some work. I ordered my usual, medium mocha latte with almond milk and on swirl of mocha with an apple fritter. I was given an apple doughnut and a latte made with a mix of almond milk and 2% with 4 swirls of mocha. Having to turn around and go back once I took a taste of my latte was a pain and I found out that they didn't have apple fritters after all. I wondered why wasn't I told this and allowed to choose another option as opposed to someone making the choice for me? Is all this a huge deal? Not really but it's enough to make me second guess trying this location again because it's a roll of the dice rather it not I'll be annoyed and inconvenienced. read more

I went to the drive through and asked if I could get a pumpkin spice BLACK coffee and she said yes. When I pulled up to the window I saw the coffee looked like it had creamer. I told the man at the window I cannot have dairy and that I'm watching my sugars. I asked if they have pumpkin spiced BLACK coffee. He said there is no milk in the creamer. I said I didn't want creamer! He closed the window on me!!! Umm even if its non dairy creamer, I wanted BLACK pumpkin spice. I was going to ask for regular black coffee but he was annoyed. Pretty decent service. Make coffee the way you want it done. I ask them not to stir my coffee and they don't which is awesome.. only issue is it gets quite busy in the mornings and weekends but the workers hustle and get it done. I'd rather go in when it's busy because it's faster read more
