The driest donuts! They make them the night before. I came after work one evening and tested my theory. I received fresh donuts. I returned the next morning, early before work, with the same order and they were stale and dried out! If you want fresh from this location go in the evening! Online order made the night before for 6am. Order cancelled 5 minutes before my pickup time with a message that the store would not open until 7am. There was no advance notice or apology email. I totally understand things happen and people don't show or get sick. But this is absolutely horrible customer service, and business practice. Came in this morning ordered 5 dozen donuts assorted for a college fair. The Women taking the order and helping me who seems to be the manager without uniform took my order. She was coughing into her elbow which was something I observed. After taking my order she started grabbing the donuts bare-handed, no gloves! no sheets! so I asked "do you not have gloves provided" she ignored me....I asked again saying "excuses me do you not wear gloves" shorty responses by saying "would it make you feel better if I wore gloves, and that she washes her hands a lot that is why they are pale mind you this is a caucasian/light toned women. We are in a prime time for illness so for you to not even acknowledge what you are doing is wrong is beyond me 2 of those boxes are going in the garbage because I am not risking student to get sick due to your lack of cleanliness. She did 3/5 boxes with a sheet in hand. As I observed others they all had gloves or used the sheet so why is she above the regulation????? After she finished my order as I sat there waiting for my order she put on gloves to help other customer with gloves on. It is absolutely against health and safety protocols for you not to wear the proper garments when serving your customers because you don't know what illness others have and how they can be impacted. Do better! She was good at customer service so that why I gave it two stars but I hope there was a lesson learned here because this is not ok. read more

The line is always 40 minutes long & I get to the speaker today to be told that they were no longer taking orders at 9am. Dunkin' Donuts isn't my favorite donut spot, but they often run good promotions on donuts and coffee so I make my way there on occasion. The coffee can be pretty good, but is a hit or a miss sometimes, but when it's at its best I can see why it has sort of a cult following: no frills, classic roasts, strong coffee good with a sweet donut. My favorite donut is their strawberry frosted; it's gotta be riddled with colors and preservatives and who knows, but it tastes good, and if you're eating a donut, you're not really looking for healthy, are you? The staff have been friendly on my visits, and usually pretty helpful and prompt, and even when there's a line it usually moves pretty quickly, though I have had some slower assistance in the past, too. I go to this dunkin almost every day for my coffee and always get the same thing, I don't usually have an issue with the service here as I mainly use the drive through but this time the cashier was just very monotonous and almost rude as she takes my coffee back to add more sugar to my very bitter (supposed to have extra sugar) coffee, she didn't say anything to me she just took the cup back and walked away. I've had great experiences before, but today was not one of those. I asked for a frozen coffee, they said their machine was down. A bit bummed but whatever. So I ordered a Caramel Macchiato, except they didn't add caramel. I wasn't charged for it, but I don't want to go back in there to ask them to change it because of how they handed me my beverage. One lady took my payment, handed me my donut, and told me my macchiato was coming and then walked off. Another lady came over with my macchiato and placed it on the counter and walked away, so I was just sitting there staring at it. Then the first lady came back and said to the second lady "why didn't you hand it to her?? You just sat it on the counter" and I replied "yeah I'm just sitting here staring at my beverage." Then I started driving away and the first lady leaned out of the window and started arguing with me thinking I insulted her which I did not, so I yelled back "I was talking to the other lady! Not you!" And she replies "okay have a nice day." All I wanted was a caramel frozen coffee. Instead I ended up with a plain macchiato and a bad experience. I understand working food can suck(I used to work food), but the employees need better training on professionalism and not leaning out of windows yelling at patrons. 2/5 stars because I'm sure this is a one off experience as I've had a great experience before. read more

So maybe I'm missing the concept of a breakfast bagel...... been going to DD in Charlottesville for the past few months, and for the most part the exchange has been good. It's a half hour round trip out of the way, but DD is what we do where I'm from- This is March 26th, and the last week bagels haven't been "available" at my usual time which is around 5:45. I finally got a true answer this morning, after the previous lies or half truths..... they have changed to a new bakery, and bagels don't even arrive until 7:00 or 8:00- HUH?
