She came out and I asked if she knew I was at the window. Just brushed me off saying I thought you just passed through. Y'all need some lights at that drive thru lane. My past few experiences here have been horrible, today it takes it right over to make this the worst place. So out of my four visits to this Dunkin only one was a good expereince. Donuts are always good (when they have what you want,) but they've yet to make a good cup of coffe for me. They don't seem to understand that black coffee means plain. They add a ton of sugar every time unless you say NO cream NO sugar. I once ordered iced coffee and it was the color of ice tea. I'm only giving them one star because I cant give them zero. The Dunkin' Donuts in cayce is easily the worst Dunkin that I've ever been to. Everytime I go there in the inside someone has an attitude/is rude. I ordered an iced coffee and it was hot coffee with legit six ice cubes in it. I politely asked them to put more ice in it and they literally just gave me water coffee. I don't know what they put in it but it just tasted like water. Not sure what all the dissatisfaction with this place is coming from. I stopped in after a run this morning and grabbed a cappuccino and turkey flatbread. The place was full of high school students about to start their day. The cappuccino had too much milk and not enough coffee, but complaining about the quality of an espresso drink from DD is like bitching about the quality of the caviar from Sam's Club. I had a nice experience here. I dropped in for lunch while traveling through the area, and it was just the restful, nourishing space that I needed at the time. The staff were relaxed and happy, as was the atmosphere in general during my visit. The dining room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom too, and it all just came together to give me the rest I needed before getting back on the road - priceless for me at the time, so that I just appreciated it all the more. For having such good donuts and coffee, the service is consistently sub-par. Every morning in the drive thru for the last week, they have taken forever to get a simple order to me and have continued to mess the order up in general. I don't order anything complicated, just a simple vanilla chai made exactly how it is listed on their menu. The employees are failing at customer service as well as the brand they represent. When you get to the window, they have made it a habit of asking what your order was and only then do they ring up! My favorite is when you tell them you're missing something or that it's incorrect they get all huffy and rude as if you're inconveniencing THEM. Uh no. Will not be going here anymore. read more

I go to this dunkin doughnuts probably about 5 times a week, and I'm not kidding you they mess it up every single time. I order one thing, but I'm too nice to say something because I know how fast food is. However, I'm also well aware of how SIMPLE it is to make a coffee. I don't think any of these employees get proper training, given I've had my order correctly taken over the intercom but wrongly made and added way more cream and sugars than I asked (written on the cup) by the manager a handful of times as well. Today I came to the Cayce location Dunkin Donuts, I typically go to the Lexington location on my way to downtown Columbia, however this morning I decided to go to the Cayce location, which I WILL NEVER do again. I arrived at 8:06, and finally made it to the speaker to place my order at 8:24, I then waited for 2 minutes and no one took my order. The line was extremely backed up so I proceeded to just pull forward to the window and place my order. Once I got to the window she told me a total and I informed her no one took my order and that i needed to place an order now, it was now 8:27. She then proceeded to rip her headphones off her head, to which they fell to the floor and she rudely said to me "What you want"... very improper english and harsh. I then proceeded with my order to which she then told me my total and said "you need to pull forward and someone will bring you your food". I then pulled forward and waited outside for 7 minutes, I timed it. Still not receiving my order, I walked inside. Once inside, no one asked if i needed help. The same girl who took my order, had the headset on but was busy texting on her phone. I then had to REPLACE my order with another girl, to which i waited another 4 minutes on my drink. I waited for 5 more minutes for my bagel then I had to ask if they had even made it because everyone around me had received an order but me. Another male worker then proceeded to look for the bagel, to which he found laying on the counter, un heated, without cream cheese. I took the bag and he said "my bad". the bagel was hard, cold and had no cream cheese to which i ordered. if i could rate this place less than one star i would. girls name was alayna or something like that, worst customer service on the planet and i don't know how she has the job. she probably won't last past next week. i placed a mobile order through the app to be picked up at drive through. i told them at the speaker i was picking up a mobile order and they said they didn't have it, but to come to the window. so i did, and i showed my mobile receipt that had the correct date, the correct location, and a time stamp for 10 minutes prior because that's when it was placed. she said they didn't have my order and no proof even though the proof is on my app i'm literally showing her. technology fails all of the time and that isn't the customers problem. if i was charged for the food and beverages i ordered, i came to the correct store to pick them up, then i expect to drive off with my food and beverage whether there was a hiccup on your end or not. instead she literally asked me what i wanted her to do. honestly, clock out and go home and never show up back to that job again... but for right now i'd like the food i ordered. the crazy thing is that i ordered on mobile because i thought to myself they can't possibly mess up a direct mobile order instead of mishearing me and ringing me up for something i didn't ask for (the usual antics at this location), but i was very wrong. i asked if she couldn't just make my order now since i've been charged. she kept telling me no, but said she could give me a refund. oh so you can't give me food because you can't prove i ordered it but you can give me a refund for something you can't prove i ordered. that logic makes sense... and also i asked why they couldn't just make it now and she said they were OUT OF MILK! i don't even believe for a moment that they were out of every type of milk and it's only just now being brought up as another reason she can not fulfill my order? she didn't mention to anyone else at the speaker box before me that they were out of milk and other people ordered beverages too. so that was embarrassing for them. also if you're out of milk... go buy milk with the company card? every time i go there, they're "out of milk" or "the espresso machine broke" or "out of large cups". eventually i realized i was talking to someone whose last two brain cells were busy doing other things at the moment, so i accepted my refund. i showed her my phone again so she could account for all the things i bought. my card was charged $15 but she refunded me $13. so i had to sit at the window even longer until she decided to acknowledge me so i could tell her she forgot to refund one more wrap. the whole experience was so frustrating and borderline traumatizing and i will never go back. i give this dunkin' chance after chance because the coffee can be pretty good when it's made correctly and i do enjoy the sweet pepper bacon, but i can't take it anymore. i don't understand how they aren't already shut down, it's the worst establishment customer service wise probably in the entire city of cayce. and alayana, whatever your name is, please get out of customer service jobs because you have no customer service whatsoever. rating it one star is still too generous. y'all need a complete turnover, new management, new staff. i hope no one has the experience there that i have consistently. and i work in customer service too - that's how i know this store is a joke. i had to tell dunkin corporate how awful of a trip i had but i needed to warn y'all on yelp too!! I come here often on Sundays and during the week before work. Usually the donuts are almost always delicious except for days when they don't actually fill the ones with fillings all the way up. It's like a dollop on the outside and no filling on the inside and that's always disappointing. But nonetheless donut are usually pretty good and that's why Im giving this Dunkin a 2 and not a 1. The employees all seem to hate their jobs here and customer service is pretty terrible. I also always order an iced coffee and 98% of the time they screw it up. I've had to have them remake it, add in the flavor I asked for or honestly just have them ditch it and take it off my order it's tasted so terrible. Today they tried to give me a hot coffee and I said no I ordered an iced coffee and their response was "we know we just don't have straws." Umm okay are you out of ice too?? Maybe you should ask me if I still want it rather then trying to give me something I never asked for and I am definitely am not going to pay for.
