I found the place on Yelp, and it was justva short walk from my hotel. When I walked into the parking lot, I knew it looked like my kind of place. As I looked around, I could tell this was a place the locals ate, so I knew it was going to be good! The nice lady, whose name is Cathy, came back with my drink, and took my order. When Cathy came by to refill my drink, we talked for a couple of minutes. I told her that I loved hearing her call the local customers by name. Before she walked away, I told her that I was now a "local for the day". She confirmed and said I was her new BFF! The food came, and as expected, it was fantastic! I told Cathy that the fried potatoes reminded me of the ones my grandmother made for ne, when I was a child... and very good memory! Cathy checked on me often, and shared some history about Leo's. She quietly dropped off the check, and never made me feel rushed. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. To make it even better, she walked by my table and dropped off an Oreo scone for me to try! OMG! I'd never had a scone before! This one may have spoiled me! When I was all done, I walked up to the counter to pay, and tell my new BFF thanks and goodbye.
