REALLY? DISAPPOINTED ON MY BIRTHDAY.... :-( I just got back into town from spending 2 weeks driving around New England states the previous weekend. During that time, there were multiple DD stops throughout my trip. On this day that I'm writing about, which again, happened to be my birthday, I was getting a late start to my day for a drive from Phoenix to Los Angeles so, without breakfast, I decided to detour off of the freeway and grab an bagel with egg and cold brew with brown sugar. Easy enough, right? First off, I hate going through a drive thru, but decided to go for it to save a few minutes. If you have ever seen Lethal Weapon 2, that scene with Joe Pesci sums everything up. To quote him; 'they f*** you at the drive thru!' I placed my order at the speaker box then drove up to the window where I was immediately given my coffee, which I placed in the cup holder. At that moment, I received a text which I started replying to. It was my fault at this point for not tasting the coffee. I will explain this in a moment. A couple more texts came through while I was replying to the first so, after finishing them all, the other part of the order was done: the bagel, so I thought. I was given a bag, which I didn't check, then I was on my way. I made it back onto the freeway and started to have my breakfast. I tried the coffee and there was no sweetener in it at all. Considering that I drank about 5 of these during the weeks prior, I knew what it was supposed to taste like. (These are amazing, which added to the disappointment!) Being already annoyed at the drink, I went into the bag and there was no bagel to be found, but instead, two orders of breakfast potatoes. Yup, really. Yes, guys. It was my fault for not checking the bag before leaving but, I'd also expect the person who packed or handed me the bag to ensure accurate orders go out. I rarely eat deep fried stuff because I often get stomach aches so, I knew that I didn't want to eat all of these things. To give everything the benefit of at least trying, I took a bite of one and it just didn't taste right. With the seasoning, it tasted like a really greasy chicken nugget. It was pretty gross considering that there's more oil than potato. Here I am, driving 80 MPH disappointed and still hungry with $7 less in my checking account. All I could do was think about this all day during the long drive, trust me, it's really a long drive where you're alone in your thoughts and music along the way. DDs out here will never be as good as those on the east coast. I still will occasionally get my cravings fulfilled by stopping at other locations, but when it comes to being in a hurry or using the company credit card to place the occasional donut order for 1000+ people, DD can no longer be an option. Please guys, get it together. Don't do this to others. You're better than those other coffee shops that cost more, please show the world this to be true and win over Arizona the same way the east coast worships you. read more

What the hell is this place!? We go to the drive thru and we tell the girl exactly what we want. We get to the window and she got 3/6 of the donuts we ordered correct. We also didn't order any jelly filled donuts. The girl INSISTED it was not. Asking her twice! Guess what it was? Yeah, jelly! Last week I swung by this location to pick up 3 dozen donuts for work as I do at least once or twice a month. I went through the drive thru. When I pulled up to the speaker to order I told her that I had two separate orders. I started with my personal order of a large black iced tea unsweetened. Then she stopped me and said "mam when we have a line we cannot do separate orders." There was one car at the window in front of me, then I was at the speaker and there were 3 cars behind me. Not the usual line they have thru the parking lot. So I told her to cancel my order. She asked "so you don't want anything?" I said "nope!" Then drove thru. I went to the local donuts shop near Fry's on Watson and they were happy to ring up my two separate orders. My mother lives in buckeye and i am now in charge of helping her with things so i visit frequent.. i happen to LOVE Dunkin lattes when made properly! I stop here EVERY time i come in from Goodyear, and EVERYTIME my drink is messed up! I order as follows, medium iced latte with almond milk and 1 pump of Carmel flavor! EVERYTIME I get my drink, it's wrong! Always 3 less pumps, 2 less pumps, 3 pumps Carmel... the label is on there, my receipt is right and i ALWAYS have to either make them remake it at window or i pull around and come back in. My family and I had a evening sweet tooth and decided that donuts were what our sweet teeth were craving. We got to Dunkin' Donuts and instead of going through the drive-through we went inside. We were looking for a dozen donuts and were not surprised when there wasn't much to choose from, it was late afternoon. However, as the employee was grabbing the donuts I saw bugs flying. I asked what they were and he told me they were fruit flies. Which, it happens, I can understand one or two but as he grabbed our second and third donut more and more started flying around. I told him I just couldn't do it and turned around and left. If the manager there is okay with bugs flying all over their food where I can see from the front counter then I can't IMAGINE what it's like where customers can't see. Dad goes across the parking lot for his Mickey D coffee fix here in AZ and I see the Dunkin Donuts across the way. If you want your fancy flavored iced coffee, sure go here. But if you want a good version of their namesake- doughnuts, then go elsewhere. Specifically, go south to Fresh Donuts over by Jack in the Box and Fry's to get some of the best doughnuts ever. The customer service here is not too great. In the morning, you know, their most busy and would be focused time, they do a poor job. No, "thank you"'s, and a lack of attention when we placed our order and pulled up. So, if you want decent coffee, dry, chemically enhanced (and chemically tasting) doughnuts and somewhat poor customer service, this place is right up your alley. If there was a rating less than 1 star, that's what I would rate this Dunkin Donuts. First off, like the other reviews for this location...the customer service is beyond horrendous! I don't know what is wrong with the mgmt here, but they need to learn a thing or two about how to train the staff on how to treat the customers. The employees are perpetually stoned, the coffee tastes like flavored water, and they have literally NEVER gotten my order right the first try. For good coffee just go to the frys down the street, the Starbucks workers there are slow, but they can make a decent cup.. And come to think of it that frys has a bakery that sells donuts too! We are here at least 2-4 times a week for coffee and donuts in the morning. The lack of proper management in this place amazes me! The staff is all young and it appears these kids just do what they want, talking on phones hanging out with their friends, I see so much that needs to be done in this place. HORRIBLE. Family ahead of us also had a bad experience and even asked for a refund . When it was our turn .. my girlfriend goes to order first and she says one thing and the lady assumes she is by herself somehow and tried to end her order mid sentence . And than when I go to order she says all the bread /bagels are gone but really they were just cooling off and another employee says " no? We have them?" The lady just wanted to rush us. This place is amazing, the staff his helpful and friendly, they usually make my drink right too! I'm kinda complicated so I understand if they didn't understand! I want the cream but don't add sugar! Sometimes they think I want the sugar free syrup as well, no I just don't want anything extra! They always remake it without a hard time! The guys there are my favorite, they are just so polite! I love this location, compared to the others in the city. The girls at the window recognize me and put up with my confused post-Starbucks ordering (it's like learning a new language). I like that. I have to admit that spikey haired guy once threw my frosted donut in a bag with my son's munchkins causing them to become glued together with chocolate frosting. Not ideal, but for the people who are okay with their food touching, probably not an issue. There is a angsty kid who seriously made my latte out of chocolate syrup, coffee AND espresso one time. But as soon as I checked out of rehab for my new caffeine addiction, they gave me a new drink, a full punch card and gave that kid a lesson in making the coffees. Win win! read more

I'm so disappointed. DD has been a childhood favorite for me, and so I was excited to have one down the street from me. I've been let down by this location multiple times but this previous visit will probably be my last. I went in Sunday morning to grab a dozen doughnuts and they had MAYBE 6 options and the rest of the baskets were empty. All of the available doughnuts were the plain ones. I ask if there's any more options in the back and she rudely stated no. Not in a hurry, I ask if there will be any more made and again she said "No, the baker left early so this is all we have left." Well anytime I would go threw, I would ask for a specific donut (ie two chocolate sprinkles, then they would reply ok one chocolate sprinkle, I would repeat this over the com like 3xs and get to the window to only have too repeat myself again. I was pleased to see the offerings of breakfast sandwiches and chose the Big N' Toasted... MISTAKE! Whatever Dunkin Donuts considers an egg, is NOT an EGG.
