How the hell is a boba place somehow always out of boba ? If you close at 10pm and you're telling me at 6:30 pm that you are out of BOBA ??? And you have a whole menu with flavors but also somehow don't have the flavors i want. Never like going here to begin with but every time i try to give this horrible establishment another chance, they always show why JT Boba is the worst place to go. Came here for a quick boba stop. The guy at front was nice. Came at around 7pm and he said they already ran out of regular boba. The young girl who helped my 9year old was rude a young boy walked out from the back room with zero energy to blend my daughter's order. Ambiance was strange sticky floors filthy sitting area. Every time I go there's something. From ordering my drink and paying for then being told they didn't have what I ordered so I asked for a refund instead since I don't really care for anything else and was told they don't do refunds even though I wasn't told they were out of what I requested until after they took my payment, another after ordering they then told me they could not except debit cards because the machine was down so I had to pay with cash because the girl already started making my drink, lol. I told them keep it I don't carry cash. Then today I go in and order my drink and they hand it to me in this big fat cup that looks like the containers used at restaurants when you order soup and doesn't fit in the car cup holder. I initially thought that they were closed. It looked dim from the outside in, but opened the door right up to a friendly welcoming. There were two girls working, who I told this was our first time in. She immediately asked what types of drinks we usually like and made some recommendations. They made everything right up for us and served to us in these super cute custom pop top canisters. We all ordered a milk tea and boba variety. The drinks were great, the service was amazing. Updating 10 mins later after tasting my kids drink she just got- it tastes like absolute crap! What even is this! It has less flavor than a watered down "flavored water"!!! We will never return! Complete rip- off! Why be called Boba house if you never have boba? Really bad service two girls one with blonde hair and black roots and the other with brown hair and glasses, it took 25m to make one drinks and made 3 drinks for the person who order after. They just kept laughing and changed my ordered. They popping pearls are hard and don't pop I'm guessing they weren't ready yet. Only good thing is that the place is clean. So it looks like the "extra" flavors are for the snow & slush only but apparently these option on their menu is for all tea options and not just snow/slush. I can't believe I haven't written this review yet. I've been to this location so many times. As soon as it opened we have been coming here. They have a huge selection of tea flavors. Not just your usual. My daughter loves green tea and she's able to pick the flavor to add to her tea on top of so many flavors of the boba. They also have the gelly ones. Again, the amount of different flavors and combinations you can come up with is endless. I personally love the taro slushy. That's right you can pick from tea, slushy with no milk, smoothies and everything with the bobas. My favorite is the strawberry blueberry and rose flavored boba. So yummy. The worst part is giving them my money just to throw away my drink , after being lied to after watching them make my drink wrong and hear one employee say it supposed to be and the other say o well. I expected decent Tea and boba at least. They ran out of brown sugar boba of course that isn't their fault. But their alternative options were terrible. At least the two we tried. Alternatives - White Boba -Chocolate bursting boba I ordered a regular Thai Tea with White boba and at 75% sweetness. That's what I usually get at Rewind which is an ice cream and boba tea house in Tempe. The Tea was extremely milky and barely no flavor of Thai tea and if you had any it didn't even taste like Thai Tea. My Bf ordered a regular Green apple Chai milk tea with Chocolate bursting boba, because he had ordered a green apple chai from a coffee place. It was nowhere near as good and basically undrinkable. The chocolate bursting boba was like raisins sitting in vomit inducing liquid. Price wise for the two small drinks was 15 DOLLARS. The drinks aren't even worth 1 cent. I wouldn't have drank as much as I had if it wasn't for the price of the drink. I would've just thrown it away or should've gotten a refund but I didn't take the receipt so I wouldn't have been able to anyway. The customer service wasn't bad at first. The one girl that was working there was pretty nice at first at explaining everything. But after that she was extremely rude. We were ready to order and she had her back turned and it took a min for her to even notice. Then after we paid she gave us the receipt to sign and she threw the pen at us. But it wasn't all bad there was a blonde hair boy who was working with her was really kind and helped me pick an alternative to the brown sugar boba. He was really nice and told us to have a good day but the rest of the two didn't say anything. Couldn't even try the place because they refused service due to not having a mask....even though we are fully vaccinated and not required to wear a mask AND the county of Maricopa no longer has a mask mandate. I think this place deserves more star! I used to live in the Bay Area, California where boba places are everywhere! Moving to Buckeye, I am glad to have found these guys! This is the worst JT Boba House their Thai milk tea is literally gross it's transparent with no flavor at all. I literally just tasted like milk. I do not recommend coming here I had to go back in there three times and the third time they didn't even want to change my drink after complaining for the 2 drinks before that. Was visiting from out of town and frequently get bubble tea from where I'm from. I got a taro snow with pearls and aloe. The drink itself was tasty and they added real taro, which most places don't do. The pearls were fresh and chewy and the aloe tasted right. They did mess up on my order, but they were very busy and fixed it promptly. It did take a while for my drink to be ready, but there was only one person making the drinks and I saw she was very busy. For busy times an extra staff would be helpful because the wait was around 10 minutes for a single drink. read more

The one star should only be for the drinks not tasting as horrible as the physical place of business. First time coming to the Buckeye location after a few years or so, way before covid for sure, and the place has just gone down hill compared to the first time ever coming, what made the place feel even nastier wasn't only the dirty stained couch seats and environment inside, it was the customer service of the chubby female with reddish hair and glasses of not mistaken. I don't understand how places keep employees who just show that they can careless to be there, just sick. This location in particular would probably be better off in the hands of someone who would treat it as the first time you guys opened, with polite and jolly employees who take customers needs in consideration in a nice welcoming environment like it used to be. And just a heads up be prepared to know what you're ordering before going in or else you'll be getting stared at ugly by someone that just wants to hurry up and get back on their cell phone, and also any question you might have will get answered as if you were stupid. What a Continued Disappointment... (I've giving them a year to just be better but I wont be back after today). We have attempted to support this business for the past year and today will be the last day I will ever visit there. Visit after Visit we have experienced horrific customer service but always chalked it up to young kids working. There was always a time or two our single favorite cashier would be working, which made the visit good. And don't get me wrong, our order is the same every single time with the exception of a flavor change here and there so there is no confusion on our part. We would always fork up with $10 for a large drink that included 2 flavors and 1 boba. Yeah... $10 a drink... x 4... That's right, $40 a visit for 4 drinks. The pricing alone was another huge issue! Each large is $6.75, plus how ever they price their flavors and each Boba add in is $1. We still kept paying because again... we're supporting a small business and after all this is a treat to ourselves. Today we see there is now a $0.75 charge to use any payment other then cash. Okay fine... we'll pay. Immediately upon ordering (from another new cashier) we are questioned about our drink order... we explain ourselves and point to the photo. The employees are now insisting it's Matcha... no, that is Not what we ordered. They continued to say yes. Okay, fine... maybe I'm wrong, maybe I never realized this whole time I had matcha? She makes the drink and immediately I inform her that's not what I ordered. Again I reference the slush photo and again their telling me it's Matcha. Ummmm... still a no from me. So i ask for a refund. They had to call whoever I can assume the business owner was to ask for permission to issue a $10 refund. As that's going on, the person making the drink doesn't understand what our problem is and is fairly vocal with her upset. Eventually we got our money back but due to the CONTINUED HORRIC CUSTOMER SERVICE and the fact that THIS BUSINESS OWNER has lacked for an entire year to educate their staff on customer services standards we will no longer support this business. The business owner personally is doing a disservice to our community with their rude employees and price gouging. read more

There are drink combinations listed but then they charge extra for each ingredient, so the cost is a lot higher than what is listed.
