Ordered a small nitro cold brew. Waited for a minute for it to settle in the store and went up to the counter and asked if there was supposed to be so much foam. They assured me there was. I did not take any drinks of it during the drive home to see how it would fully settle. This is the final product. Anytime I order a nitro from Starbucks, it is filled all the way to the brim. Very little employees for how absolutely jam-packed this location's drive thru always is. But the ones they do have are very nice, and 6 bucks for 6 donuts is nothing to shake a stick at - especially when they glazed blueberry cake style ones are simply splendid. The sandwiches just taste exactly like any other microwave style, sodium-packed kind you can get at the dollar store and the Coolattas are practically half inedible sugar but I come here for the donuts so I don't bother with that stuff really. Just got off of work decided to order Dunkin, my coworker recommended a iced coffee with four pumps of caramel swirl. I go through the drive-through the manager Robin repeats back a caramel coffee I said no an iced coffee with four pumps of caramel swirl and cream no sugar and she says OK and repeats again what she said, an iced coffee with caramel. So I ask "is that the caramel swirl" and she replies caramel swirl is our caramel in the rudest way possible. I get home ask to speak with a manager because I didn't receive a receipt and wanted to file a complaint with the manager. Well yeah Robin was the one who took my order and had the nerve to ask if the menu says caramel and I said no it's says caramel swirl. I will continue to patronize Starbucks never again. I reported this establishment to the Kankakee Board of Health for unsanitary practices by the staff. I literally witnessed a lazy staff person make the wrong coffee drink. Instead of throwing it away and making another. He threw away the topping and retopped it and reserved it to a customer. It was the messiest coffee drink I ever saw. When the customer complained. There was not an apology and the staff person had a smirk on his face. I would suggest to every customer to watch closely how your drinks are prepared. Better yet, go somewhere else. I am a latte girl and I have to admit... Dunkin Donut's lattes are plain gross. Their coffee and chai tea however, are delicious. They have so many different syrup flavors and I have found perfection in a medium coffee with cream, sugar, almond and coconut. Delicious. Donuts are obviously good. I am a DD regular and visit Dunkins all throughout the Chicago suburbs and downstate stores. This DD by far has the worst customer service I've seen. The only person who took care of me with gratitude and was polite was Darnell, and to my understanding, they let him go. I never saw a pissed customer walk out of a coffee shop (DD, SBUX, ETC...) until visiting this location. Twice in a 2 month period customers walked out in a huff, one of the times during a fight between the 3 workers on how to take care of the customers! Come on, seriously! Get your acts together. For now, I'll drive the extra 5 minutes north to the Manteno store. Cindy runs a tight ship up there and always recognizes me and thanks me for returning when I see her. read more

Although I'm an avid yelp reader, I had never been a reviewer. I had to create an account just so I can voice my frustrations with this branch of DD. I frequented this one often as I work very close, and after three terrible experiences in a row I decided I would no longer choose DD for my breakfasts on the run. My order is ALWAYS wrong at the drive thru. I know its busy, but after it happening so many times, just to me, I have to assume its a very common occurrence and they need to take responsibility. The last straw was after I received jelly, that after opening had a nice layer of mold in it. I returned it minutes after I received it and the manager just grabbed me a different one. This location has one of the worst drive thrus. I refuse to go back. I have given them several opportunities. Everytime I ask for a toasted bagel with nothing on it you'd think I was speaking a foreign language. They don't get it. Then they ask me if I want it toasted or if I want cream cheese on it.
