The best apple fritters I have ever had, always consistently delicious! Locally owned and will go out of his way to make you smile!

I looked up donut places and this lil place popped up and I was excited cus the pics of the donuts…read morein the case is what I wanted, but when we got there is it was called "River to River Bakery and Pizza". So I guess no more Brick Street Bakery? Great location. No donut cases displaying donuts. We had to ask about the donuts and it was 8am. They had the "fancy" donuts, you know the ones that people get creative with cereals and stuff. No plain every day donuts. I got the apple fritter. It had cherries in it, I didn't know that. The 2 ladies that were there were super sweet. There is some seating inside and outside. And you can see the old architecture of the building inside and out which makes it fun. They are only open 6am-2pm. Will need to go back and try their pizza as I was not impressed with the donut.

We had to try the goodies.. so I got the maple frosted cake donut. I wasn't expecting much... I'm not a huge fan of cake donuts because every one I've had has left me dry-mouthed and searching for water... but not here! Brick Street's donuts were not dry at all! Moist and perfectly sweet! The coffee (we just have it black) was smooth and tasty. My husband enjoyed his gooey sticky-bun :)

They had a larger menu starting at 10 AM-- opened at 7:00. Good coffee, good food, (pepper bacon was'superb') great service, pleasant atmosphere. Good choice.

Disappointed to say the least, I came in the back door not realized there was a correct door and was rudely cut off by other patrons at the front desk. I had to wait several minutes to be waited on and the place had plenty of spots. Maybe because I was a party of 1... they didn't seem to care. After I shared what drink I wanted, I learned they were out... fine no problem. I asked about the Thai specials, the waitress was clueless. I had to ask for the restaurant week menu and ask about the specials. She said they looked good but couldn't describe them and hasn't tasted them. I got the salad on special, but get this... they were out of the main restaurant week special... such a let down. The ambiance was mixed, one corner was a cute date night the other corner was crying children. All dimly lit and outdated decor. The whole experience was off, I ended up leaving after my one drink and salad. I hope to give this place a second chance sometime but hope they aren't out of dishes and I can get a trained server. Maybe another night for sure!
