Wow! My first impression walking in and my last walking out was simply WOW! Blown away by the service and selection here. It was clean and organized and they have everything you want! The place was packed (I can see why) but even the other customers were kind and friendly. A police officer was bagging groceries! They have lollipops at the registers! Duma meats is about 50 minutes from Cleveland area. Let me tell you, it's well worth the drive. Their meats are outstanding. I ended up buying porterhouse steaks, ribeye, steaks, beef, ribs, lamb ribs, beef, tallow, beef, hotdog, and cheese.. my goodness the flavor is outstanding. We had the porterhouse steaks the first night we got home. I'm amazing. It was like eating and cutting through butter. Clean and well kept market. I bought their ground beef patties and found a small very sharp metal piece in it. So grateful I didn't swallow it or feed it to my grandkids because that has the potential to do some serious internal damage. It looks like it broke off a piece of machinery. The Butcher store is on point, food trucks not so much! LOOK I've been buying my meats at Dumas's for MANY years! AND I will continue to do so, Monday (9/29/2025) my son and I each had a burger from their food truck, which I was so looking forward to, and I was TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED! Our burgers looked NOTHING like this! They were WAY over cooked, and less than 1/4" thick. They were actually less than 1/3 the thickness of the picture above! and there was so much BBQ Sauce that I couldn't almost taste the Jalapenos on my burger! It was between noon 3o and 1pm and they weren't busy at all..... We're going to give another chance but I'm skeptical for sure. Granted the burger is like $7.00 but if you're going to SHOW the burger above and THAT burger is $10 or more, that's OKAY BUT you won;t get the pictured burger when you go there! This is a gem if you get to stop by. They have all types of meat. Between my friend and I, we bought at least $150 in just beef jerky. All the meat here is so fresh. Considering they raise the cattle and slather it also. When you are in the parking lot, you can see the cows. They have large freezers full of meat. And in the back of the shop, they have a huge meat counter for all your fresh meat needs. The prices are very fair. And of course, if you are a jerky fan, you must drop by. They have sausage-type jerky, and strip-style jerky. My recommendation is the spicy strips if you like spicy. The jerky range from $10-$20 per lb. read more

A few months ago I would have given them a five star review. Today it was much different. While I realize that business need to make money and a profit, today it felt like it has gotten too commercialized. The entire feel of the store felt different, and not in a good way. Even the checkout guys were very rough with the food and meat that we bought. They had no concern or respect for the food that we were paying for. We started going to Duma's right before the COVID19 Crisis hit and they have been getting us through these weird times (especially with grocery stores having to raise prices on meat!) Duma's is about a 20 minute drive from us, but we pack a cooler with some ice, place our order online and then someone comes out and brings it to us in our car! We love their chicken, ground turkey, ground beef and chicken patties. Their store is open so you do not have to order ahead, however that is an option we have been using and it has been excellent. Talk about the BEST meat market! Duma is a family owned and operated business that many locals know and love. They offer lots of options, such as grass fed beef, lunch meats and cheeses, various grocery items, deer and bison, and many more delicious products! My family loves their boneless, skinless chicken breasts and ground beef patties - YUM! Picking a bundle they offer or just ordering what we like in large quantities is usually out go-to. We drive down here about every other month to stock up and keep the meats in the freezer! As long as I live in this area, I will never shop anywhere else for meat! Nothing can compare to the quality of this place! Not to mention, every one of their staff members is extremely helpful and friendly! So disappointed. Was here during Covid and was able to go into store. A couple weeks later we made the 1 hour drive out to Mogadore to pick up a few items. When we got there we found out that we would have to call in an order and pick it up several days later. We asked if an exception could be made due to the circumstances. I was in a cast, non weight bearing after an ankle reconstruction surgery. The manager I spoke to lectured me on the phone about Covid and became very argumentative. The time it took to belittle me, they could have gathered my chicken salad, ham salad and ground beef. They have lost a customer. Shame on you!! read more

Been twice. Each time we stock up for 6 months, so it's a large purchase. We buy a lot of everything - chicken, pork, multiple cuts of beef, duck, etc. The quality is just as good or better than your local butcher or higher end grocery store. We've only used the curb side pick up option which is nice...in and out...although we go during the week at non-peek time. Highly recommend Duma...btw, we drive 45 minutes. Worth the windshield time! Best place to buy quality meats. They also have local honey and maple syrup. My buddies had told me about Dumas 8 years ago. I finally went this year just to try it and see if I could taste the difference. I was very happy with the price and the taste of the all the meats. My wife was skeptical until she tasted the steak. Summary meats offers freshly butchered meat and specialty items as well as a limited grocery store. What could be an amazing service is cut short by odd practices. I'll start with the good. If you want general beef and pork cuts, or deli meats then you will find exactly what you are looking for here. And you won't be disappointed. The steaks are nice, the pork is fresh, and the bologna is some of the best around. Here's where things come of the rails. Way too much frozen food! If you want veal...it's frozen. A lot of sausages are frozen. Frozen chicken, fish, offal... I was hoping to get fresh veal shank for an osso buco, sadly all the veal was frozen so I passed. Wish they changed that policy. I get there are no preservatives so they say freeze if you don't use right away, but they should still try and have some fresh options beyond beef and pork. Some lamb, goat, veal. Duma's is glorious and I'm so glad to have discovered them about two years ago. They raise their own beef and pork, there's no preservatives, everything in their fresh selections have been butchered in the past day or two. I also like that they sell other local products so you can get delicious pierogies, cheesecake, eggs, honey, etc. and the chicken in the best I've ever had and it's so cheap! DO NOT BUY THEIR DOG BONES!!!!!! I have a 2 year old German Shepherd. Normally I DO NOT give him those generic big dog bones that you see in the store because they are chalk full of preservatives and chemicals however, my friend claimed that Dumas was an "all natural" store and bought my dog one of their bigger bones. He ate it last night no problem. Woke up this morning to him having extreme diarrhea and throwing up everywhere. When I called and asked they said " they put liquid smoke on the bones for flavor". Liquid smoke is used to flavor a bone so that you don't have to burn it. This basically means humans combined chemical compounds to form the liquid smoke flavor meaning it is NOT all natural. Will never buy from here again. Left my poor dog very sick and at the vet. read more
