I've been going to the corner store for 16 years. I have always found the meat to be of superior quality and outstanding prices. Just last month I got some boneless strip steaks for only $8.99 a pound so I got several packages. I did the whole meal for my younger son's birthday and everybody was so impressed with the steaks! So definitely check it out because there's got to be a reason I've been going there for 16 years. BUYER BEWARE So I stopped here because I forgot to buy something in Ravenna. They had three different brands of what I was looking for the only issue was that two of the three items were out of date, on the shelf. When I advised them they stated they would pull them from the shelf but because one of the items was from March of 24 and it is now August of 24 I just was not impressed. This is a store that caters to the vacationing public coming to area lakes and campgrounds and it gives me concern that these people are getting taken advantage of. Also if this is a practice of theirs they are well known for meat. Think about that for a minute and buyer beware. read more

Was told by an old friend to check this place out, and specifically their meat department, when I was traveling through the area. Glad I did and it lived up to all my friend's ravings and beyond my expectations. Great prices. Terrific products. This place is a fantastic meat and deli shop. Fresh cut meats, and cuts to order that are half the cost of the other box shops. The deli is really inexpensive with brand names. Some of their dry goods are slightly more expensive, but only slightly. It is a rural shop. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. They have other things like candy and games for sale. They go old school and have a great collection of things. I am not sure about the other review stating it is expensive. I got rolled skirt steaks, 8 and three ribeyes, 1 inch thick, and fresh along with other items, ~30 bucks. GE, Marks... and Costco, you are looking at 55 plus. read more

As a weekly customer at the Corner Store, I get the most bang for my buck at the deli and fresh meat department. They seasonally get local produce and pies. FYI It is wise to order deli meats/cheese, and then go back to choose meats. By then the deli order is usually ready. The shelved can goods are not cheap. I have never used their deer processing or call-in ordering services. read more

Hidden gem. You must check this place out and fill your freezer. Beef prices are crazy inexpensive and the quality is not second rate. Check out the bone in ribeye, beef ribs and whole filet. They also have an extended selection of lunchmeat and cheese also at incredible prices. read more

Sadly I'm revising my initial 5 star review. I've been in here two times since my review and both times I've bought steaks that were unbelievably tough. I did call the store and told them and they did offer a refund on the ones I had remaining but unfortunately the drive is too far to be worth it. I may consider giving them another try when I'm in the area next. We'll see. read more

The staff and owners are helpful, cheerful, and always busy because the value for the meat is tremendous. My husband and I have filet mignon at least twice a month now because it is so affordable, with such terrific cuts, as compared to the local grocery stores. Our dog has to be on an all beef diet, so he gets their ground beef, which is high quality for the price. We also really appreciate the wide variety of beers for special occasions; when we request a specific beer, the owner is happy to order it and make it available. It is great to see a vibrant active family business in our area! read more

Unless you want ripped off and treated like crap, don't ever shop here. Over priced items and double charged at check-out. Expired food being sold at full price. Can't even take cart out to your car. I was charged for five additional items not purchased. Also charged full price on sale items. Half the store doesn't even have prices on the product. Cashier just punches numbers she feels like at check out. Very Unprofessional and rude employees. Not at all friendly atmosphere. Never going back. EVER. read more

This is not a fancy foodie store. very 1970's old school vibe with standard faire on the shelves. But the meats! omg. fresh chicken and steaks. last year beef tenderloin on sale $8.99 a pound. My guests still rave over it. this year it was $7.99. fresh, tender juicy red meat perfection. We grab a coffee and make the 45 minute drive because the prices are worth it and I enjoy a corner market. Sometimes you don't need a high faluting Heinen's experience.... just small town quirks and small town prices. read more

I have been shopping at this store since we moved here 14 years ago.They have great prices and the people who work there are the best ,kinda like family. I would drive miles to shop here.The owners of this store are good hearted people they help the local schools, and even help with coats for kids.Stop in sometime and check it out. read more
