I think K & K is making a big error not having any digital footprint. At this point in time you would not find them on Yelp or Google. Even a "Street View" on Google maps, which shows the building. You will not see any name signage or phone number in street view. No Website presence I can find. Had to call family local to get their info to create this Yelp presence and post this review. I certainly enjoyed the cream sticks. Several visits. Since they are an unknown out west where I live. Where I live. Donuts that look deceivingly similar. Are called Maple or Chocolate bars. A dry un-filled look a like on the surface. If I ask for cream sticks the request is met with a blank stare. They have a good selection of Deli items and other baked goods. Along with other convenience store type items. Even a good stock of Cockeye BBQ brand ice cream.

Byler's Grocery Store is Amish-owned, so it has no website or phone number…read more This grocery store is located in the basement of an Amish family's house. The store is much smaller than most "English" grocery stores, but it has some foods that I was interested in. As I shopped around, I saw Amish-made foods such as maple syrup, flour, rice, pancake mix, beans, noodles, jam, jelly, sugar, honey, and gelatin. Surprisingly, I also saw some English foods such as Doritos, Twix, Miracle Whip, Heinz Ketchup, Mountain Dew, and Kool Aid! In addition, I saw hygiene products such as soaps and shampoos, health products such as herbal medicines, and cleaning products such as bleach and paper towels. I bought Amish popcorn, pancake mix, and elderberry jelly. I thought that they all tasted good.

The self-checkout machines are awful. There is supposed to be an attendant, but the attendant is not always available to constantly deal with the machine. One manager I spoke to, who was running a conventional register, acted put out that I was complaining about this. I've experienced this now several times so if there is long lines at the conventional registers I will just move on out of the store and shop elsewhere. In fact if there are lines at the conventional checkouts when you arrive, my advice is to turn around and head elsewhere.
