The workers were very accommodating with my last minute requests and daily phone calls to make slight changes to the orders. After a long day I appreciated how pleasant and friendly the staff was when I went to pick up the food. I cannot speak any more highly of the service I received. What was supposed to be a last minute dinner change for one night, evolved into us ordering food from them every night we were in grove city. My athletes loved the food. Especially the mac and cheese, rigatoni, baked chicken and the chicken parm. With my budget, the prices could not be beat. I would recommend their catering to anyone that wants to feed a large group!

Produce, dairy, and meat and fish items are always fresh as well as deli and bakery items. Bakery cakes are beautifully decorated as well as tasty. Sushi and dine in items are varied. Unlike the other grocery store in town mobility scooters and carry out service are offered. I am also grateful for the special events and community donations they sponser. Joseph's Market Place - A nice olive selection. It's right in front of the deli, with great selection of cheese and luncheon meat.

Joseph's is convenient for me, it's just into Neshannock TWP and easy access off Mercer rd. into the plaza. Coming from Mahoning County, it's a nice surprise in this area. They have a nice sized Market. Like supermarket sized in 1968, I'd imagine () and the aisles have food racks that you can see over. It's connected to a coffee shop, baked goods (mainly pies and cakes and Italian cookie variety's. Like clothes pins, Buckeyes, it rotates and is fresh daily and unless you live next to Jimmies in Liberty you will do just fine here with the desserts you will find here. I've had a little of everything here over a year and it's all typically excellent. This side also has some breakfast muffin type things, a nice area with nice round tables and chairs, and a front window that lets in light. You got a parking lot to look at, but it's actually nice to look out here. They serve hot food daily, the menu is updated by 11am daily on Facebook. But, it's popular, so if they have pot roast or something, it goes fast. Saturdays when warm they do racks of ribs for carry out. You have to be checking Facebook on fridays for this it's preorder. Nice feature is the Coffee shop side is walled off from the grocery, open just at the very front to go to grocery. The grocery side looks like a small market. And walking through the place the outside wall from the left is. Veg, meat, deli, and down far wall, dairy and freezer. Also inside is bread (can find Mancini and Breadworks here. Whole loaves, sliced, rolls and buns. So, THIS is where you go for genuine rolls for cookouts) Everything else is standard Italian market. When in season they'll have greens and vegetables, but it's more about the Olives and canned goods here. And nice selection of Italian baked biscuits and cookies here. The freezer is great. Lots of homemade pastas and filled pastas. And Wholey's brand seafood. Calamari, breaded, and frozen whole. The service is always friendly. There will be just one register going, but I've never had to stand in a line. It's usually people picking up genuine products for sauce or a recipe. No people with the cart filled up, so it's fast and easy to get in and out. I go here like I'd go to a Dollar General. Milk, bread, and then I look around for anything else I might need. And always wander over to the Coffee Shop first to see if you want a desert or cookies. Nice spot to impulse buy a couple cannoli. Overall this is a great spot to shop, let alone an area standard. One of those places that have been here in New Castle for a hundred years, and is still run as a local friendly place that draws in anyone looking for Nona's Italian market for Holidays, Sundays, or just day to day grocery shopping. And, Mancini and Breadworks are both available here fresh.

I placed a bakery cake order for my child's birthday, was super specific on the theme and what I wanted of course. I called to add something on to the order and gave details and to confirm they could do it, they said yes. I get my order and it's not even in the same zip code as what I ordered, I called that night to confirm my additional order was correct because I was disappointed with what I got and felt screwed, I was so disappointed I ran to GE to get new cupcakes. When I called and spoke to the owner he was very dismissive and didn't show any empathy towards the mess up, instead I was met with "it's a busy time of year and my ladies in the bakery are making thousands of items and i'm surprised they are still standing" while I have compassion towards that and can understand I still paid for a service $60 to be exact to get something I didn't ask for, If you're that swamped I suppose you shouldn't of taken my order to begin with. I will no longer come back since my order wasn't an importance to your business.

I came here to pick up a gift card and I thought it would have been a quick stop. It was anything but that. This sits in a small plaza in a college town. Honestly, for a college kid this plaza could be a one stop shop. Sharing the plaza is a liquor store and Dollar Tree. It would definitely complete all your shopping needs. I went in and found the gift card section and did as quick scan of the cards. I found the one I came here for and made sure that it wasn't tampered with. With selection in hand, I make my way to the register area. With this being a smaller store there weren't many registers to begin with. However, they did have each register open, but they weren't flowing as fast as you would hope. I honestly had the one item, the gift card, and every register was backed up. Didn't matter if you wanted to try the express lane because that one was just as backed up. Do yourself a favor here, get your receipt emailed to you. It's one less thing to have to fumble with. Once I was finally through the register you are free to run out of the store.

However, I felt most of it pass away as the cashier's death stare penetrated my soul. Even the organic monkey treats trapped between my fingers started to spoil. After not being greeted, I whipped out my credit card -- only to Discover that the card company was "down" in Giant Eagle's system. I had to source a paper bill out of my leather dollar diaper. Now, my account says the payment processed, so I paid for my food twice. What an utter disgrace. The ambiance of this place isn't at all shabby, but the lack of liveliness of the employees makes me feel so dead inside. I'll return, but only when I find my precious onion rings.
