This is a small gem for people who don't like getting up early for farmer's markets. On Wednesdays, the market opens at a respectable 2 pm, so you can definitely sleep in without worrying about missing out on anything. For people who are habitual early risers, the market opens at 8 am on Saturdays.
The vendors are quite varied with bakeries, fresh produce, house plants, jarred yummy treats, and arts/crafts being offered. I like how one of the requirements to be a vendor here is to be a local (live and grow in St. Louis, Lake or Carlton counties) so that everything here is special and unique, not from resellers.
