Specialties

We are now a 3 generation small farm in business since 1984. Our specialties are Christmas trees, Christmas wreaths, Free Range Chicken, lots of veggies in season, and new this year, Fresh Cut flowers for florists, designers, and especially DIY brides. You can find us online and at 5 farmers markets a week in the Duluth Minnesota area from May 1 until the end of October. We then open at the Duluth Farmer's Market on the day after Thanksgiving daily until Christmas with trees, wreaths, and holiday decorations.

History

Established in 1984.

We have been growing fruits and veggies for local farmer's markets in the Duluth area for more than 30 years. We now have three generations helping out on our small farm. We are known for our innovation and are very popular in the local food industry. We are expanding our business this year in order to make room for our children and grandchildren who want to be part of this business. To do that, we have dedicated one high tunnel to cut flowers which we will be providing to farmer's market customers, florists, floral designers and do-it-yourself brides.

Doug owns and operates "Farmer Doug'. He has been in the business for more than 30 year, and along with his wife, Lois, and their children and grandchildren, make a living on their small farm. You can find Doug at the Duluth Farmer's Market and at three other area farmer's markets in the Duluth, MN area from May 1 through the end of October. Then daily from the day after Thanksgiving until Christmas you can find Doug doing what his real passion is, and that's selling Christmas trees, wreaths and other Christmas greenery at the Duluth Farmer's Market.
