Very disappointed with the lady who was currently working at the Sweet Factory store. Right away…read morewhen I walked in, she was glaring at me. I proceeded to tell her about my last purchase of the mini jaw breakers, which are supposed to have a somewhat chewy texture. I explained to her that the last time I bought them there, they were stale and before I could finish, she cut me off and was like "I can't give you samples!" So then I continued to question her, "so if I buy these candies and they are stale again, what happens?" And she responded very rudely, "I can't do anything about that," while the whole time she was giving me a dirty look and acting like I was making some crazy request. So even though I spent more than $40 for a big bag of candy and had to throw away literally half of the bag away (so throwing away $20), you mean to tell me you will allow me to make another blind purchase and I will just have to accept that they are stale?! No freaking way! You lost my business! Sweet Factory, you need to work on your employees' customer service. The lady was very rude and I didn't take the time to take her name because I was so disgusted with how she looked at me and dismissed me right away. She definitely could've handled that much more professionally and with a little more compassion for the customer. Sweet Factory, if you don't train up your staff to be more courteous, I'm sure you will lose more business! I will not be returning!

I can't say I had the interest in going, however that changed and my curiosity about what a High Tea was, and the crowds here at "Tea Time" left me wanting to try it out. This was not just Tea, this was a bounty of tea, they had so many different types and flavors of tea (40+) that you sort of want to try them all, while technically you can as the tea is unlimited, but trust me you won't as the two pots of tea you start with, is a lot of tea for two! Sure, in a larger group you can try a lot more, but it's still a lot of tea. The Grand Tea, High Tea option was what we went with, and you started with a soup, followed by a tiered selection of sandwiches, desserts and scones.
